Cute little spot, but not very accommodating. I asked for an iced latte with whole milk, which I thought was a pretty straight forward request. They informed me they could not give me whole milk, and instead offered skim, 1% or half and half. Yuck! The most frustrating part is that they sell half gallon containers of whole milk in the shop. So, I ended up buying the half gallon of whole milk and I asked them to use it to make the latte. At approximately $ 10, it was definitely the most expensive latte I ever purchased. The scone was pretty good.

Coffee is very weak/watery. Impossible to get a good, strong coffee anywhere nearby. Pastries and food are OK. But for a coffee shop at least offer a good cup of coffee.

Their coffee is very watery. I’ve tried it on more than one occasion. Their baked goods are OK, but a lot of them don’t do so well when they are left over from the day before, even when warmed up, which they still serve at full price(around $ 3 each). If you catch their stuff fresh out of the oven, I’m sure it taste better. Their soup is delicious though, and that is where I am getting the three stars from. I haven’t tried their pies or cakes, but the ‘meh’ pastries haven’t really persuaded me to.

This tiny shop in Lanesville has the best croissants this side of Paris. The baker is creative and a pleasure to deal with if you have a special order. Her pies and cakes are delicious and beautiful. It is easy to miss, but a colorful awning and OPEN sign attract attention. Do stop for a good cup of coffee, a sandwich and/or a special treat.

Great coffee and baked treats. The attitude of one woman makes for a bitter taste. Don’t work in the customer service industry if you’re easily annoyed by people.

We recently moved to Lanesville and Plum Cove Grind has become our go to coffee stop. We hosted our future daughter-in-laws wedding shower and ordered their carrot cake and it was amazing… both in taste and presentation.
