We wandered up 127 with the top down and no particular place to go on the most beautiful Saturday of the season so far(6÷18÷2016). After a visit to Singing Beach we decided we were hungry and just decided to keep going until we saw a place at random. As luck would have it we wandered into the Seaport Grille because it was the perfect stop for our coastal drive. Christin had oysters. She started with half a dozen and they were so fresh and delicious she ordered another half dozen. I had a super-rare sushi quality tuna with seaweed salad and it was delicious, fresh, perfectly seared and every bit what you want from a seafood restaurant. The service was amazing. Attentive but unhurried and very knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant itself had a perfect view of the harbor. If you find yourself wandering up 127 some weekend I have to recommend you give the Seaport Grille a thought.

great food, totally solid. my only criticism is that their bread is just awful, but that’s quite minor!

This restaurant is my new favorite!!! A fisherman told me that I had to check it out because he loved everything on the menu… HEWASRIGHT!!! The staff was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the lobster roll & clam chowder and my son had chicken quesadillas. EVERYSINGLE bite was scrumptious. I can’t wait to return! Thursdays they have a special on lobster rolls: $ 12.95 instead of $ 27.00.

Got the lobster roll last week which is what we order most of the time. We got half of the lobster that we usually get and were disappointed. The gentleman sitting next to us also got the lobster roll and was going to order one to go and cancelled the order after seeing how small his lobster roll was and commented that the roll was much smaller than he usually gets.

The bartender/manager here, Kaela, was super friendly and so quick and knowledgable about the drinks and the menu. The food is amazing and the portions are rediculous. Ive been to many places in gloucester but with the service here and food quality there is no doubt its the best place to come for a quick bite or a special night out.

Not impressed at all. So disappointed as we don’t get out much for dinner. Shrimp scampi had so much lemon in it that’s all I could taste. I’d like to taste the actual shrimp and seafood stuffing. My boyfriends rack of ribs were very dry and way too spicy. They did take his meal off the check which we appreciated. Waitress and staff very nice. Food dissapointing

This is a good place on the waterfront. Wednesday is oyster special day. Bluepoints for $ 1.I took advantage of that. The lobster rolls are very good. There is a nice view and a solid beer selection including local beers. We were quite early but they let us in any way. Service was pleasant and efficient.

Everything was excellent but the dessert. Just about everything can be shared but avoid the shortcake-disgusting.

This place is awesome! I am here visiting so of course I wanted to try the lobster roll. It was a pleasant surprise to find the lobster roll on special for 12.99(Thursday’s) the sandwich was packed full of lobster offered warm or cold. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return

Worst lobster roll ever, all bread and lettuce. They have the nerve to charge $ 26 ea. Should of walked out and went to Belle Isle in Winthrop, Ma. Very disappointed after hearing so much about this place. Not even worth the special $ 12.95 price on Thursdays. Sorry I didn’t sent them back, but that’s not my style, just will never return and not recommend to anybody.

The non-seafood food and the noise level had it to three but the seafood and service brought it to four. The only had blue point oysters, which basically you can get anywhere. The lobster was old shell and perfectly done. The eggplant sandwich sounded great. It was advertised as «thinly sliced». I’d don’t think I could have got my teeth through a thickly sliced, and the mozzarella was too thick as well, making it a rubbery blob in the sandwich. Salads were a bit underdressed. The mussels however were a huge platter and nicely done. Salmon was perfectly cooked as well. And the desserts were enormous… rhubarb crisp was great. I might go back if I’m in the area, but not sure it’s worth the drive if I’m not.

Lobster roll and drinks were much more expensive than anticipated. I could have gotten half a bottle at the liquor store for the shot. While we could see the cost of the lobster roll on the menu, for that price we expected much much more in terms of quality or quantity. For an equivalent sandwich we would have expected to pay half or 2⁄3 that price. We primarily ate appetizers and they were fine, but not amazing. The firecracker shrimp was bland, but nice if you aren’t expecting a firecracker. The patio dining was nice and kept us warm, in the January weather. We will probably try elsewhere next time.

This restaurant is out of this world. We came to seaport grille to watch the patriots playoff game. They lost. The only thing that made us feel better about them loosing was the $.50 wings and the delicious key lime pie. The service was also outstanding! Lyda the bartender took excellent care of us. She was so creative and helpful with our drink choices. The manager Al was very attentive(and was pretty cute too ;)). What a great experience! Will definitely be back in the near future!

Fui en pleno invierno. Llegamos para almorzar tarde y al rato se fue llenando de gente para cenar. Todo lo que comimos fue riquísimo y el clima del lugar me enamoró. Ojalá pueda algún día volver!

My server was amazing. His name was Sean and he was very patient and polite. He handled my table very well and was awesome. Foods a little expensive for what you get. Management came over, I explained how we found 3 strands of hair in our food, he apologized and kept going… we would have loved a more sincere apology or even an offer to comp anything and there was none. We found hair in two different dishes! Reconsider your greed, management, if we find hair in our food at least offer something to us, that’s how you get customers to come back. Thanks Sean for the awesome service :)

This place was recommended by a friend and we were just absolutely disappointed from start to finish. We ordered the lobster roll special and a fishermans platter to share. The lobster roll was a huge letdown. Not only was the lobster tasteless, it was served on a fluffy non buttered torpedo roll. You need to grill the bun or toast it with butter! I asked for no coleslaw and got a pile of it next to my lobster roll. The fishermans platter was okay. I had to ask multiple times for things and the food runners didn’t have a clue who ordered what. I would never go back

Wow. Clam chowder is so good. And please leave room for dessert. The key lime pie is out of this world and can feed a small village.

Where do I begin? This place is customer service heaven. I was a little upset because of a restaurant we had just left because of the horrible service in the same town so I wasn’t really in the mood to even continue dinner but boy was I in for a treat. As soon as you walk through the doors you are greeted with a huge genuine smile and seated right away. We had the please of being waited on by a young lady named Crystal. She is genuinely a nice person and you could tell she loved her job. Everything was perfection. From the appetizers to the dessert. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the filet mignon was perfectly pink on the inside. The salad was perfectly stacked with goodies included feta. The buffalo wings would put any good wing bar to shame. The desserts… Whoa nelly!!! We ordered the blondie, the strawberry shortcake and the coconut cake… They were enough to feed an army but ingredients were fit for a king. Man oh man, we all loved this place and will be back very very soon.
