I’ve lived in or around Goffstown for 4 years and I unfortunately judged this place by it’s outward appearance. BIG mistake. Without a doubt the best takeout food anywhere within reasonable distance. The owner was extremely friendly and the food is AMAZING. Fries — perfect. Fish sandwich — HUGE! I literally had to remove some fish to fit it into my mouth, enough for another spectacular sandwich the next day. My daughter loved the grilled cheese and fries. We order 3 meals with fries and still spent less than $ 30 with tip(optional, obviously) for amazing service. This is without a doubt our go-to place for family gatherings and impromptu eating. I cannot say enough good things about the owner or the food. You have to try it to believe it. Best food you can get without pulling it out of the ocean yourself or spending $ 50 or more. Highest recommendation for anyone looking for amazing, tasty takeout at more than reasonable price. Best of the best.

0 stars of it was an option. Ordered fish chowder. It was definitely old. Smelled horrible and tasted worse. All the fish had turned to mush. The place was not clean. I will never darken their door again.

Magoo’s Drive-In is a good roadside food stand located along Route 114 in Goffstown, just west of the Irving station. This«no-frills» old school drive-in is open year round and offers fresh fried seafood, chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, subs, wraps, clubs, souvlaki, gyros, lobster rolls(seasonal), wraps, fries, onion rings, chowders, ice cream, and cold bottled drinks. Most sandwiches with fries priced under $ 10. Dinner plates include fries and slaw, $ 6.99(2 hot dog plate) to $ 17.99(scallop plate). Family size value meals are offered here too! The place is very small and geared towards takeout, which has an enclosed ordering counter area(can get cold in the winter). There is not table seating inside, only picnic tables outside. Whenever I’m in the area, I enjoy stopping in at Magoo’s for dinner takeout. I always order fried seafood here since it is very fresh and the prices here are pretty reasonable and the portions are generous for the price! I’m not paying Seacoast prices here! I usually order the Haddock(14 oz) Plate($ 13.99), Clam Strips Plate($ 12.99), or the Whole Belly Clams Plate($ 17.99-sometimes it’s sold out) to bring home for dinner. The fried seafood has crispy breading on the outside and it’s not too greasy either. The fries are the standard type, deep fried golden. The cole slaw has a sweet flavor consisting of cold milky minced cabbage. The service from the owner is prompt and friendly. As another reviewer mentioned, this place is a diamond in the rough!

The owner is an amazing character. Was a recording artist in Greece. So nice! The food was great. Great portions and super reasonable prices.

Everything said is true. Ginormous, delicious haddock sandwich with fries for less than $ 10. This will be my go-to for my fried favorites. A diamond in the rough!

I tried the haddock sandwich as recommended and it was amazing. There was so much fish inside – there was no way you could pick up this sandwich and eat it(a fork is included). And for only $ 8.99(two dollars less if you skip the fries). I will be back the next time I crave some fried seafood. Highly recommended. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. Give this place a try!

We stopped in first time on the way to Weare. I ordered the Hamburger Plate, 2 hamburgers and fries. Holy C – P, the burgers were huge! I was expecting 2 little McDonalds size hamburgers. I had trouble eating both of them(But I did). :-) They were juicy and tasty. Small place with a huge menu and prices are very reasonable. Going to have to go back and try the Haddock. If you are ever on Rt 114, you gotta stop in here. It looks like a old dump from the 50’s, but the food is great.

Stopped in again today, and the haddock sandwich is still the largest I’ve ever seen, as well as fresh and delicious. 8 $ — gave the man $ 10 out of sheer guilt.

Visited this little drive in today for lunch, after driving by it everyday for about a year. I was pretty impressed with the large menu and the cheap prices. I went with the Chicken fingers plate and it was pretty damn good. Only reason I didnt give them 5 stars was because this place is really only a good weather restaurant or take out. there is no indoor seating, also they could have given a little more sauce for the chicken fingers. overall impressed though.

Magoo’s is a family-run drive in restaurant on the side of Mast Road. I always enjoy it there because they have good cheap food with plenty of seating at their picnic tables. The outdoor tables are also clean and you can sit in the sun or in the shade. They actually have a decent size menu for such a little establishment. From seafood to hamburgers or hot dogs, they have some good stuff. Also, if it’s a hot day, Magoo’s is a great spot to have some ice cream. I wish Magoo’s continued success!
