Great food! Great view! Great atmosphere! My family and I go here for breakfast at least once a month and it has never let us down. Amazing pancakes. They even have good coffee. The view is spectacular. Nothing beats eating breakfast while watching the osprey fish in the Rogue right outside the window. Super fun to go during fishing season and watch the anglers catch salmon. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I have been eating in restaurants all my life and I think Silver Hook is near the top of the list. Good food, nice view, and best of all, good people. I come in here three or more times a week. Just try them.

Great family run restaurant. Friendly, good food and beautiful views. This worst part was trying to decide what I wanted most. I definitely recommend this place!

Not sure who the other servers were on the previous reviews, but the service by Aley was a big letdown. She didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, and it felt like we were a big inconvenience. We showed up an hour before closing and felt completely unwelcome. One star for the food being decent. Find another place for better service.

Beautiful view out over the river! Friendly courteous staff, cozy log cabin atmosphere, very nice place to eat. We had a couple of burgers for lunch. The portion size was very generous for the price, and the quality was very good! Their onion rings were the tasty beer battered kind, and their burgers were super filling. All in all, a very positive experience. I might actually suggest the burgers be a tad smaller, make them default to 1⁄3 pound instead of starting at ½ pound. But again, it was a great value as it was. Would dine here again!

Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff! Nothing like enjoying a great cup of coffee, homemade delicious breakfast and a view of the Rogue River! Just a little over a mile up river. We had the chicken fried steak, which appeared to be hand breaded, topped with homemade gravy. Also had the eggs with 4 generous slices of bacon… all cooked to perfection! We’ll be back!

The food was really good, I didn’t know what to expect, we had seen this location while on a tour and decided to give it a chance since the first location we selected was closed. The food was really good, the ambiance was nice, beautiful view. The service was a little lack luster but I could tell our server was very new so I’ll cut her some slack. Well worth the visit!

Will probably not go back, ordered prawn linguini, received about a dozen small bay shrimp and a small pile of noodles not worth $ 19.00,1st. Salad came with sour cream instead of blue. Cheese, 2nd. salad came after linguini and rolls came After that, ordered a beer and received a 7 oz corona for over $ 4.00.waitress friendly

We were visiting Gold Beach, OR for the«Ride the Rogue» bike ride 9÷12÷15. We ate out two nights and this was our favorite of the two. Menu was simple but very tasty food. We would definitely go back again. New management is working in securing liquor license. The view of the Rogue River is incredible!

Have had breakfast here twice and dinner once. Every meal was GREAT and service too. Biscuits and gravy good. Veggie omelette good. Large portions for breakfast. Had the chicken pot pie for dinner and it was very flavorful. Great view and fun to wave to the mailboats going by!

As far as lunch went, I can get a better cheese burger at Dairy Queen and not have to pay extra for fries, which were, by the way, dry and over cooked. Senior fish and chips were little more than a snack size. If you want to spend money for a sit down lunch, the Port Hole has this place beat, hands down.
