I should NOT be drinking coffee. I know this. But I had a moment of weakness, I drive past this joint every day on my way to work/doctor/other work and back. And this particular morning, the starry, big buck chain yonder across the street just had me burnt out. I wanted to try something new, and I’m really glad I did because I’ve found my little coffee hang-out from here on out! To get to the particulars, this is a small coffee shop with a roaster and a self-serv(I think? Well, I self-serv’d.) coffee bean wall. The menu has seasonal flavor offerings, and they have a very comprehensive list of ‘fru-fru’ drinks(read: pumpkin pie spice lattes, chocolate cherry mochas, blended drinks, the list goes on; my moms language, not mine) to rival even the starriest or heavy footed chain coffee shops that are sprinkled through the area. The barista was very friendly and attentive to my request to stop my drink at 115 degrees, and I had enough time to sit and take in the calm atmosphere on this Sunday morning. I could see parking being a bother, but I had no issues. There are a number of other shops in this immediate area, so be careful; volume times could mean fighting for a parking spot. But I would say, without a doubt, it’s worth it. This area is well-served by a local, small time coffee shop.

This was our morning salvation while in town for 5 days. Came here 4 of 5 days, I think– not quite enough to get the free 10th drink though… doh! Coffee was good. Had a variety of things in our various trips… drip coffee and several types of lattes. They made one drink with the cold brew coffee, heated up, and with a syrup(I chose Irish Cream) which was interesting. Prices were reasonable, and seemed lower than Caribou. Quick to make the drinks, and on our way with liquid gold in hand! Will be back next time in town.

Well I really want to support local coffee shops. But its really hard when they only offer granulated sugar to sweeten a cold press… No I do not want a flavored iced coffee. Please invest in simple syrup 50% water 50% sugar. No one wants chewy iced coffee.

YUM! BEST iced mochas(frappes) besides Dunn Bros. No weird chemical taste that Starbuck’s Frappucinos or Caribou Coolers have. Yuk. They taste natural and are super creamy! People are always friendly here and there’s a nice little outdoor seating area. They have great, unique baked goods too that aren’t over priced. They sell cards and artwork made by local artists.

I normally stopped in this coffee shop when it was a Dunn’s brothers, but surprise it’s now Triple D. I give them a shot and the barista levels the coffee with her finger! Eww! Maybe she was having a bad day. I will try again we all make mistakes.

Wow, my husband picked up iced strawberry and cream latte, and an iced banana drink made with cold press today. I AM a HUGE coffee snob and I am VERY impressed, not too sweet, actually has the right amount of espresso or cold press(no skimping). It’s really refreshing to see a local coffee shop doing it right!!! Kudos, we will defiantly be back!

Nice little coffee shop. I miss it being a Dunn Bros. The roaster is still present but doesn’t look like it’s been used much. Little coffee shop that is trying a tad too hard. Inside, bar style window seating, 2 arm chairs, and one or two tables. No noticeable outlets. The common area outside the shop has more outlets and seating. Music is bad. All top hits of classic rock. Gets old fast.
