A popular spot which we also enjoyed. I also really liked the décor. Service was ok — everyone seemed to be in a hurry. But our meals were great — my kafta kabob was delicious and my hubby enjoyed his meal too. We also tried their meat pie and thought it was great! We’ll be back when a craving for Middle Eastern food strikes!

Was working near by and didn’t have much time for lunch. When I walked I asked about how long on average it would take to get food. He told me that the gyros are basically ready so I decided to give that a try. I have never been a huge fan of gyros but this one was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. And it was ready for me to go in just over a minute. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

I’ve been here a couple times — once for take out lunch and once for a group dinner. Takeout lunch took less than 5 minutes to come out which was nice but also made me question the freshness of the food. Dinner offered free hummus and pita, but the pita did not taste very fresh. Chicken shwarma — this is a giant portion, great value for your money. However I found the chicken to be super dry, so for quality food I would go elsewhere Falafels — these had a great texture, crisp outside and creamy inside. But they were SO salty. I mean almost inedibly so. Polite service and good value, but for a delicious meal I would go elsewhere.

Alibaba you sure do know how to make your customers feel welcome! If the front of the restaurant doesn’t impress you then walk in and request to be seated in the area where the décor is more down home middle eastern. They accept reservations so take advantage of that and enjoy the ceiling draped in colorful fabrics. Very festive and it does something to the ambience. It immediately becomes romantic. The food is delicious. I always go for lamb and it’s almost always the lamb chops. Here it’s tender and very tasty and the portion is just about right. Very attentive staff but never too much. When they found out it’s our first time one of them immediately wrapped a few Baklava to go for us. As a welcome gift. How thoughtful is that? That definitely won me over and I will be back for sure. Not a pro tip: but as someone who’s very picky about Hummus. They have one of the best here.

I lived in LA and grew up with many people from Iran and neighboring counties as well as spent some time in the Middle East(Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt — well technically this is North Africa). This restaurant is NOT a good representational of Mediterranean or cuisine from Lebanon. To be fair, I went there around 3 times and each time, the food was marginal at best. The food is VERYBLAND(i.e., hummus was flavorless, dry falafel, tasteless rice and store bought salad dressing REALLY). It might be OK for people that don’t know how the food should taste, or haven’t been exposed to the cuisine by locals. Ditch this place and go on Colorado Blvd for better options.

We were privileged to be taken here, for Christmas lunch by the Rocky Mountain Inc. Senior Day Care Center. We filled the large dining room and the wait staff was phenomenal and extremely patient w/us goldie-oldies, whisking our orders, place settings, water, drinks, all with a smile with LOTS of traffic around the filled room. I’ve become VERY fond of Irani food and was right at home w/their Kafta(lamb) Kebab preparation and lovely Persian Rice w/roast tomato. The Hummus and warm, fresh pita bread was wonderful, and the refreshing salad was delightful. We were treated to their LUSCIOUS baklava w/hot tea, coffee, etc. I felt transported to a Middle-Eastern locale, dining in a sumptuously decorated room, complete w/colorful, red ceiling drapes and beautiful exotic chandeliers, whose green lighting effects were flashed faded in pictures provided. Much work and care has been put into creating the delightfully exotic atmosphere and the food that completes the culinary adventure. I want to return, soon, to savor more of their delicious food.

This is my favorite Mediterranean food(Lebanese) in Colorado and perhaps the best I’ve had in the States. Everything is good. Without going into details, I can attest that their meat is very fresh and processed on site(I almost wish I didn’t know this). My favorite dishes are the baba ganoush, yoghurt soup, dolmas, and the baklava. Their baklava isn’t too sweet. It’s just right. I also like the spinakopita, when I have room. My friends have all loved the gyros, which are the perfect size and amount. I love this place.

It’s been far too long since I’ve had a great Lebanese meal. We came in with a party of 10 and they found room for us. The group of people we went with were difficult as well and our server Adrian was impeccable. And the food! I would have posted a picture of the special but I devoured it before I could. Everything was well prepared and tasted wonderful. Adrian thank you for being patient and attentive to our large party of crazy people. We will for sure be back.

Very rarely do you find a restaurant that has amazing food as well as gorgeous décor. This restaurant definitely makes it to that list. My husband and I were visiting from Texas and pulled this restaurant from Unilocal and all I can say is that we are very happy we are here.

Most everything in the Golden/Morrison area is either burgers, American or Mexican food and we wanted something different so stopped here for a quick dinner before heading up to Red Rocks for a concert. Our server, Meagan, suggested the King Combo($ 14.95) because it had everything that we wanted on one plate and large enough for the 2 of us to share(chicken, lamb, kobideh, hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel, tabboulleh, fettoush). The flavors and spices were authentic and absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back. I wish they had a location in Boulder!

Really enjoyed this restaurant, nice ambience and great food. The upper seating area has traditional benches lining the walls with pillowed seats. The price is right too, so much good food for a great value. We had the Gyro Meat entrée and beef, lamb and kobideh skewers which were all delectable and remind me of the Mediterranean flavor I miss so much. The chai was the only thing I didn’t finish, it had a little milk skin that grosses me out, but the flavor was good. My friend had the Turkish coffee and enjoyed it greatly. We had the banana milk and baklava for desert. A great meal overall in a little hole in the wall strip mall on Hwy 93 in Golden.

Went for dinner on Friday evening. TL:DR version is… Décor = nice and thematic Service = poor/understaffed Food = BBQSAUCEONKEBOBS!!! ISTHIS A BBQRIBJOINT? WHATTHEMOTHEROFJONESISTHIS!!! The long of it is… Went tubing at the nearby park and we showed up at 5:30pm hungry. Décor: The upper dining area is a sight to behold with a bubbling little tile fountain, like you might find in a courtyard in someone’s Mediterranean home, and the walls are painted in gilded middle eastern designs. The seats along the walls are the long continuous wall benches covered with some comfortable pads and elbow rest cushions. The ceiling is covered with a beautiful drape which completes the transported-to-foreign-and-exotic-local-décor. The lower dining area is more café style with ordinary tables and chairs and even a TV on the wall playing some international soccer match or another. There is some type of appropriate ethnic muzak being pumped in to set the mood for dining in the upper area. Service: We were never asked what drink we wanted. They just brought water to our table as soon as we were seated in the upper area. «This is OK,» we thought and just went along with it. We ordered and I noticed that the waitress seemed a bit rushed. We never had our water checked or refilled. The waitress checked our bread and offered to refill it once. The check was brought to us without our prompting and we had to request that she add a dessert to the check, she seemed a bit annoyed by the request. She never asked if would like dessert or not. I got the distinct impression that the waitress wanted us to hurry up and leave. Please note that we did not make ourselves an annoyance. We never flagged the waitress nor did we complain. She literally just did not seem to have the time to attend to us. The waitstaff appear to be overburdened at this establishment. I observed 11 active tables and a total of 3 servers who were busy with other duties including hosting, cashiering(for to-go orders, which they have alot), busing and I assume kitchen duties as well since they seemed to spend a lot of time in the back. I overheard the table next to us letting the waitress know that some plate or another was not satisfactory and several people came out and apologized and offered to replace their plate. I thought nothing of it other than«Nice to see that the management here takes their customer satisfaction seriously.» I did not suspect that anything would actually be wrong with the food and just chalked it up to a fussy customer. When the food came out I found out why the table next to us was complaining. Food: I am not a picky eater, especially when I am hungry. So basically, the food is edible though I do not think it is good Mediterranean food. We ordered the Muhammara, meat pie combo and a Lamb and Beef kabob a la carte. Flat Bread was lukewarm like it was microwaved rather than oven baked. It harded quickly into stiff crackers if you do not eat it right away. Muhammara was tasty and the fresh tomatoes they put in it were especially tasty. A bit overly tart that you may notice after a few bites. But still quite good. Pies were quite good and came in cute looking little boats. They reminded me of those gondola boats with the stuffing where passengers would sit. The spinach pie in particular pleased us both. The meat pie was OK. The cheese pie we never received. The menu states that the meat pie combo comes with 2 meat 2 cheese and 2 spinach. However, we received 3 meat and 3 spinach. A little irksome to change the contents of our order without notifying us but as I stated earlier, the service at this establishment is lacking. Kebobs are hard to do wrong and they majorly screwed them up. So long as you use good meat and fresh veggies and you don’t burn it, how can you screw up kebobs you say? Drop them in the toilet? Rub them in bleach powder? Sword fight practice with the kebobs and pretend they are a +5 flaming holy avenger of tastiness? No, you screw up kebobs by slathering 50-cents-a-bottle-at-save-a-lot-grocery-on-the-sale-shelf BBQSAUCEONTHEFREAKINGKEBOBS! WHY! WOULD! YOUDOTHIS??? The meat was not spectacular but it was fine. The veggies were also fine. You had no reason to hide the kebob flavor with bbq sauce. Did I end up at some kind of fusion Mediterranean BBQ rib joint? WHYWOULDYOUPUTBBQSAUCEONTHEFRIKKIN’ KEBOBS!!! DIDYOUJUSTGETLAZYANDDECIDETOFLAVORTHEKEBOBWITHBBQSAUCERATHERTHANMARINATINGTHEMEATWITHREALSPICES? I don’t know if the other entrees are good. The BBQ kebob might be forgivable if their other entrees are good. Based on the crappy service I won’t be back to find out. Grrr… Wait, on second thought BBQ kebobs is unforgivable.

Boyfriend: What do you want for lunch? Me: Ali Baba’s. Boyfriend: What do you want for dinner? Me: Ali Baba’s. Boyfrend: What do you want for your birthday? Me: Ali Baba’s. Boyfriend: What do you want to name our new cat? Me: Ali Baba’s. Since I’ve been to Ali Baba’s this spring… I can not get enough! Coming from Chicago and my boyfriend from Detriot, we know what good Lebanese food is. This is it, people! I’ve only been to this location and have no desire to go anywhere else. Oh god, the hummas is like BUTTAH! Seriously, I don’t even want to know how they get it so smooth. It would be like ruining the magic of Christmas. The chicken shwarma is perfection in all of it’s beautiful seasoned juices. The rice is a huge portion and so yummy. Falafel… yes please! And that garlic sauce they bring with the shwarma is out of control. So much garlic, so much good. Also don’t forget to try the mint tea! It’s the perfect little topping to this masterpiece cake. The atmosphere is super cool, decorative, and ornate. Great spot to get food with friends or check out on a date. You can’t believe you are in a strip mall once you enter inside. Whether it be a dive bar or fancy shmancy, I love when a place has an atmosphere that enhances your whole eating experience. Everything is a great price. Not only that, but the portions are huge! And saving the best part of all for last, the service is so incredible. They have the nicest people working there. They really take great care of you and have phenomenal hospitality. We always request to get served by Ali, he has provided us with the best dining experience and customer service that we have EVER received ANYWHERE. I can not emphasize that enough. Check out Ali Baba’s and then check it out again a few days later… or at least… that’s what I do ;)

Wow was this ever a fun place to have lunch! I do not get Mediterranean food very often and it did not disappoint. I had the vegetarian platter with falafel, tabulleh, baba ghanoush, hummus, pita, and rice along with a yummy grape leaf thing. Yummmmm The tastes were all very good and it was a nice relaxing lunch in a very fun restaurant. I can’t decide if I like the hummus or the baba ghanoush better– they were outstanding. If I lived here id be back!

What is sad about this review is that it could easily be a 5 star review, but for the service. Oh, the service. Not only did we wait for what seemed like endless amounts of time to place our orders and get our check, but the table next to us complained when they got their check that they never received their hummus. Whomp Whomp. It is truly a shame because the food is consistently deeeee-licious. My BF loves his chicken kobideh and I am admittedly obsessed with the veggie combination platter and the spinach pie. So much so that I order them every time. Sometimes I get extra baba ganouj, sometimes I lament the fact that I didn’t order extra baba ganouj. Woe is me. Definitely check this place out, definitely don’t be shy about flagging down the staff.

Huge fan of the place! I’ve been here about 4 times now and service has been on point on every visit! I’ve had the chicken schwarma plate and the lamb curry. Both are delicious! So much flavor especially with their yummy garlic sauce. We’ve also had the grape leaves, baba ganoush, and hummus. All were mouth watering! The only thing that is lacking here is beer and wine. Other than that, highly recommend this place!

I love this place! A group of friends and I have been grabbing lunch a lot lately with some young toddlers. They always cater to our chaos and keep all our orders straight. I get the falafel wrap or the veggie plate. Both are excellent. The wrap is around $ 5.00 and the veggie plate is $ 12 but it’s huge! I either split it with a friend or take home leftovers. They bring extra pita bread too. The inside is nice, I love the way it’s decorated. The serve is great except it usually takes a while to get our bill. Overall though, it’s worth visiting! There is some outdoor seating too.
