I cannot believe that the office manager still had a job. She is incredibly rude and impossible to deal with. I have never met someone who is worse at customer service. They do not care about the residents at all! Just a few of many examples: 1. It took over 2 months to just get a mail key so we had access to our mail. We had to go to the office 2 – 3 times per week to ask for access to our own mail. Every time we were told that they would have the key within a few days. When we went back, we found out the key had never been ordered and no progress had been made. No apologies were ever made, just more excuses as to why they couldn’t make a key. 2. After living here for 2 months they sent a bill almost $ 1,000 more then what our rent is supposed to be. When I called and asked why, the manager said she made a mistake and had not been charging us enough for pet rent. She made it seem like my fault that she had calculated our rent wrong and demanded payment and threatened to kick us out. 3. We have had countless issues with the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night. I can’t tell you how scary it is to wake up from a deep sleep thinking there is a fire in your home when you have a newborn baby! One time when they were going off, we went to the office to tell them we couldn’t turn them off and that something was wrong with the batteries. The manager told us that she was in the middle of a tour with prospective renters and that we were not a priority! Run as fast as you can away from this place! It is over priced, there are hidden fees, and the office manager is THEWORST! We are considering legal action at this point.

Great place to live! BEST in Golden. The community of people are great and we really feel at home here. For the price you get a lot of value. Management is great too! As well as the maintenance crew.

This is on the verge of a five star review. These places are new, clean, very nice, and are very impartial, if you will; the model townhome is very country-themed, with lots of denim, etc. and we decorated ours quite modern, and I don’t think either take looks strange at all. This is the type of place where you can feel that you can really make it home-like and not just a place where your stuff is, which many apartments, etc. can feel like. All families and older people here really– some younger couples, including ourselves, but everyone is quite quiet. You don’t have any neighbors above or below you which is nice, as these are set up like one giant house divided into quarters. There are 1, 2, and apparently 3 bedroom units available. These are probably the most expensive places to rent in Golden, but are also the nicest. Considering Golden is surrounded by many much more expensive places to live, I don’t mind paying a little more for somewhere this nice. They actually aren’t that much more expensive that Red Rocks, and much nicer/newer. The maintenance people here are incredible. Only once has there ever been snow on our porch/steps/sidewalk/parking lot when I left the house at 6:30 am. Every other time it snowed, they plowed and shoveled immediately and will do so 3, 4, 5 times a day if necessary. My only complaints; parking can be difficult to come by the farther up the hill you go. I think I had one other mild problem but now can’t remember. All in all I’m very happy living here.
