We came out to Denver on a business trip and decided last minute to go snowboarding at Breckenridge for a day before heading back home. We rented our equipment from Christy sports, but realized we had no snowboarding apparel! We definitely didn’t want to buy new snowboarding clothes & equipment and lug it back home, so I did some research, found these guys online and decided to give it a try. We had a GREAT experience with Mountain Threads. For $ 39/day, they lend you Columbia brand jacket & pants, snow gloves, and goggles. We met up with a gentleman named Karl who was more than accommodating, helpful, and super friendly. The entire process from renting online, checkout, to drop-off was seamless. We highly recommend Mountain Threads.

We decided to go skiing on Easter Sunday the night before. We needed clothing to rent. We called the number for Mountain Threads in the late evening on Saturday. We received a call back within minutes from Jessica. She let us know that they were closed on Sunday to spend time with their families on Easter, but that she would gladly meet us at 630AM to rent clothing to us. She did, and it was great. This is above and beyond what is expected. Great service!

I had a great experience with Mountain Threads. We visited Denver from out of town and Rachel made the transaction as easy as it could have been. We wanted to hit the slopes early, and we had an early lesson scheduled, so she even came in an hour before normal office hours to hand off our gear. Awesome communication leading up to our trip as well. We visit Denver every couple of years, so I am sure we will use Mountain Threads again.

Headed out to Steamboat, I faced an issue being from Atlanta… ski gear. Do I buy hundreds of dollars in gear that I will maybe use a couple times a year, or do I rent? I found Mountain Threads on Unilocal and I am very happy I did. The checkout process was painless and I received an email letting me know that the gear was at the hotel waiting for me a couple days before my arrival.
When I opened the box, the clothes were in near perfect shape. They use Columbia and it did the job, perfectly. My only complaint was that it was 45 degrees on the mountain!
I will rent from these guys again. Thank you!

Recently rented some snow clothes for our week in the mountains. This company made the process so easy-reserve online then try on in the store to be sure the sizes are correct. Their location is right off the freeway on the way to the mountains-so convenient!
The employee was so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend renting clothes/boots etc. It made such a difference to have good gear for the snowy, cold weather. We were never cold because their gear is well suited to the climate. Really nice Columbia jackets and pants and Sorel boots. The gear bag that they load all your gear in is very helpful to keep it all organized. Top of the line company and customer service. So glad we found you online before our trip.

Rent instead of buying! This was a great little shop. We reserved online, the owner met us on Sunday morning to try it all on and swap out a few pieces, and we were back on the way to Keystone. It’s right on the way between Denver and all the resorts.
Great quality Columbia packages — easy, convenient, and pleasant. They also offer drop off at your resort and pick up for returns for an additional fee — but if you are driving it is literally a 3 minute detour off the interstate. They also had Hot Chillys base layers, sunscreen, lip balm and a few other items for sale.

These folks are tops! Large selection and very flexible with options for trying sizes. They accommodated our changing needs and schedule and were very helpful with suggestions. We rented ski bibs, a jacket, goggles and helmets. All were in excellent condition. Would use again rather than pay an arm and a leg to buy ski wear that only gets used once or twice a year. Convenient location right off I-70 on way to Breckenridge. Can’t beat it.

I rented all my ski apparel from Mountain Threads on my recent ski trip to Beaver Creek and would highly recommend the company. My apparel was high quality and waiting for me when I arrived. The entire transaction was a breeze, though I wish the company had less expensive or free delivery.
