Warning, recent change in ownership and food is totally different now and not for the better. I have happily eaten the amazing food that was served here for years but I will have to find a new place now. Totally bummed…

This small restaurant that you normally wouldn’t noticed unless you’re going to the jail nearby is the literal diamond in the rough. I went to this restaurant after looking at some rave reviews for it and was not disappointed in the least bit. The lunch menu is vast and covers every meat/veggie options. Nothing breaks the bank past $ 7 and the lunch special runs for 4 hours and it’s Monday-Saturday. It comes with more than you need and you won’t feel skimped from the portions. The lunch special comes with a choice of soup, an egg roll, crab Rangoon, and rice style. Definitely great food. I ordered the general Tao chicken and asked for it to be made extra spicy and it was made to perfection. My best friend ordered the sesame chicken and called it sweet but not too sweet and the seasoned properly for the portion. Definitely coming back again.

Very unassuming restaurant in a strip mall in golden. Food is very good, hot and flavorful. If you have a soft spot for hole in the wall Chinese like me you will like this place.

Before I get started, with good Asian restaurants don’t expect the greatest service and if you do receive that, chances are the food isn’t the greatest. On that note; lunch is really cheap, $ 6.99 with an appetizer, a egg roll, and wonton to go along with your entrée. My food came out fast and piping hot and I knew it didn’t stay under a heat lamp all morning waiting for the lunch rush. I’ll be back the next time I’m in the mood for Chinese.

I love the food, but the service is terrible. Every time I’ve been there the server is so rude. I probably will be finding a new Chinese restaurant, I don’t do bad customer service.

Long wait for my food. 25 minutes at 2 o’clock on a Wednesday. Only two tables, one already had food out when I got here. Also, charged me for dinner special for lunch until I caught her. Food was yummy though.

Our new favorite Chinese restaurant in Golden. Service is a little slow but very friendly and the food is delicious. Will definitely return.

We’ve been here many times, and this is our go-to place for Chinese. The lady who works here is very nice. Getting delivery is not a problem, and it usually arrives quickly after we order. The sesame chicken is the best and I love the sauce. We haven’t had a bad dish from here!

First time at Peking Garden and I am pleasantly surprised. For the dinner price you get a lot of food for your moneys worth. I had the curry chicken with vegetables and it is very delicious. The wontons are amazing and you also get soup and egg rolls with the dinner meal. I will definitely be going here regularly.

If you’re looking for a solid Chinese restaurant, this is definitely the place. The food is absolutely delicious. Also, if you like wontons, you might find yourself trying to buy every wonton in their business establishment for the day. I’m not kidding. Cheers

Family owned restaurants the owners are so kind and the restaurants atmosphere is comforting! The food is delicious! The crab cheese wontons are to die for! There $ 6.99 lunch special is a killer deal! The shrimp with lobster sauce is one of my all time favorites!
