Susan Whiting Photography – CLOSED

Same story. Married a few months ago and other than two texts, have not heard from her since. I can take some comfort in the fact that she took down her website (which I discovered after having an email returned) and no one will ever sign up with this horrible horrible person ever again. If you have been a victim please file a report with the Attorney General’s office in Colorado and together we can pursue legal action against her. With claims from multiple in multiple states this woman will serve jail time for the despicable things she has done.

Has anyone on here actually received their photos? We are in the same situation — married 4 months ago and have not received anything. Paid her in full before the wedding. Getting pretty worried we will never see our wedding photos…

Stay away from Susan Whiting Photography! We booked her after meeting her at a friends wedding and she seemed very easy to work with… until she got our deposit. Since then her communication dropped off the face of the earth and our friends unfortunately experienced the same. Several months later and they have not received even a single photo! After several attempts to schedule our engagement photos we cut our losses and moved on. Hopefully after reading this review no one else will have their wedding ruined by this woman.

We are so saddened that my daughter and her husband were the victims of Susan Whiting Photography’s 2014 kick off of wedding season in Connecticut.
She was in our home, she spent the day at the wedding site, she ate our food, she accepted a gratuity from us for her services, she cashed her deposit months ago and then walked away. She told my daughter that once the photos were ready she would need final payment. She told them they were ready while they were on their honeymoon (yes a bit quick but maybe she was anxious to get them out) and once she got the check and it cleared she would send out the photos with a tracking number. I mailed the check, she got the check, it cleared and my daughter and her husband got nothing. I wrote a letter to Susan begging for an explanation and she has yet to respond. She was given a final date to comply by from my daughter and her husband and Susan finally emailed them saying: «Not a problem, we relocated and are just receiving all of our shipments from the office. We’ll be sending out all of the rest of the wedding photos this week. I’ll follow up on tracking with you once it goes out. Thank you.
That deadline has come and gone and still no tracking, no photos just more lies. It is so sad that this so called wedding photographer who uses this quote on her wedding site: I completely fell in love with shooting weddings… there is nothing more rewarding than capturing beautiful moments and emotions on such a memorable day!», can do this to innocent unsuspecting brides and grooms.

We are extremely disappointed at Susan Whiting Photography. Susan came to our wedding and took our pictures, but never gave them to us. She gave us many excuses as to why we hadn’t received the photos. All of these were different lies. She told us our pictures were ready many times and she was sending them, so we paid her and she never sent them. She is unreachable and unresponsive to any type of communication. We found out she did this to many other brides as well. Stay away from this photographer. It is crazy that a person would hold the raw footage captive from a bride and groom. It is truly heartbreaking!
