Ulysses Park

Tiniest dog park ever. Just a baseball complex. I’m not from the area and need some good spots to take my dog. This place epupd be fun if you had kids.

Great little ¼ pipe and and a few features to hone your street skateboarding skills. This place never gets too crowded, so it’s nice to get in a few solo sessions without worrying about some goofy-​footed poser cutting you off.

This place is a great park! It makes me wish I had kids so I have an excuse to visit more often. I stumbled upon this park one day when I was trying to reach my 10,000 steps a day goal. It’s right near my house and next door to a high school. It’s extremely large! I was surprised by the variety of amenities here. To start, there’s a skate park and a dog park. Having both of those in one place is spectacular enough, but then again, there’s more! There’s a soccer park, batting cages, baseball fields, football fields, and working restrooms during the summer (ladies, face it, you know you were wondering).
My favorite thing here is the large fitness loop (sorry, I don’t play games with balls). It runs the entire way around the park. I feel like its about a mile or two in length and makes a great exercise loop if you’re looking for some gentle exercise. Since it borders the park and it’s on a topographic high, there’s a nice view of Golden or a good view of the youngsters playing sports.
