Hometown Pizza

I have yet to try this pizza. This is the second time I’ve tried to place a delivery order in about a month but both times no one has picked up the phone. Today, I called 7 times (totally wanted pizza as you can tell) over the span of an hour and nothing. I double checked their business hours and their phone number to make sure everything was in the clear. If they’re not taking any takeout/​delivery orders it would be nice for someone to take a second to answer the phone and tell me.

In spite of the poor reviews we stopped and grabbed a pizza and some of the cheese bread (which is really just another garlic-​y, cheese-​y pizza without tomato sauce). There aren’t many options for take out in the area so we placed our order and hoped for the best. Our order was ready in about half an hour which wasn’t a long wait but we’d have gladly waited twice that long for pizzas that good! Hopefully this is a sign that things are changing for the better at Hometown Pizza because we had a very good experience, very good food and reasonably priced.

Expensive and NOT worth it !!! The kids there have no idea what they are doing I don’t know if they are family or what either way they are not trained and have no clue what is going on we ordered delivery after and 1.5 hour we called and the lady had no idea it was supposed to be delivered told us it is on its way we said we can come get it but she insisted… well that was 20 min ago this town is like 2 miles long it does NOT take 20 min go get down the street

Pizza isn’t as good as it use to be, very rude employees and owners. I waited over an hour for 1 medium pizza, sad to say I will not return.
To bad they sold the place to people with little to no experience.

Since the new owners took over the quality has declined as well as the service. The owners are still nice and the lunch buffet is still a great deal (but recently I’ve found myself waiting a long time for new pizzas and bread sticks to be brought out). Still one of the better places in town to eat.
