Joe’s Towing

These guys are complete Crooks! My fiancé was driving home from washington tonight in a rental. Got stuck behind a accident and was unable to drive the car without chains. Left the car on the side of the road for a hr or so to get chains and upon return found the car to be towed by this place! After following the tow truck back as they saw it traveling with our car down the highway, they followed it back to the tow yard to get the car. After catching up with the driver he told my Fiancé that he was going to shoot her for following the tow truck! After that he proceed to hold the car hostage unless we paid $ 400!!! COMPLETE SCAM ARTIST TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PPL!!! I have had a lot of cars towed in my life in my line of work and deal with a lot of tow companies and never have come near $ 400 for a short hook and tow!!! The car was 15 mins and 15 miles from the tow lot and the driver claimed it was a rate of $ 179 per hr and took two hours to go get the car!!! Complete BS and CROOK! BEWARE!!!

Joe picked us up in goldendale and was earlier than expected. Drove 20 miles down the road to get our van after a blown tire took out a brake line and flat bed towed us back into town. He is strongly opinionated and maybe a bit rough around the edges but definitely good people. He made sure we knew where we could stay, lefts us with a local mechanic to be taken care of in the morning, and his rate was also reasonable.
