The theatre has improved a lot since last year. They recently remodel the entire place from bathrooms to seats. The seats are better now but one thing is always going to bother me about this place is the smell. It always smell like nasty used socks or some type of cheese I despite. This is an expensive place to buy things. They charged me 4 dollars for a bottle of water. No bueno!

The theater has much been updated and is still undergoing construction but they changed out the old carpet seating and added leather seats that have give to them which is so nice. They now have self serve drinks and a bigger staff. I’m loving how they are taking care of the theater now! Also have a security cop!

The theater is pretty new and very clean. Our theater was a stadium type(don’t know if they all are) and the sound was great. My main complaint is $ 4.50 for a small cup of soda!!! Really??? That is a serious ripoff. I don’t live in Goldsboro, and may not ever go to this theater again, but if I do, I will not buy a refreshment!

This is my 2nd trip to this theatre. I have seen a couple of so so reviews like too many kids or bland décor. These are not things that concern me. From what I see, the theatre is clean, the screens are good size, the seats are high backed and comfortable, there is stadium seating so a big head doesn’t block my view, the sound system is good, and the movies that I saw were played in 2D not 3D. Popcorn was pretty good as was the Mr Pibb. Overall I had a good experience. Crowds were not too bad even though I saw«The Grey» and«Safe House».

This theater is obviously the hottest thing around and it shows by the shear number of preteen and teenagers present this particularly balmy Saturday night. At 730 the line was out of the door with chatty girls and boys around every twist and corner. In addition the lobby was showing signs that the staff was incapable of managing the crowd with popcorn, napkins and candy bits strewn all over the carpet. The movie was fine but apparently no cellphones wasn’t enforced as much as the volume of signs outside each theater would have led you to believe. After the movie we discovered why. The crowd had gotten even worse and not only didn’t they have the decency to move out of the exiting patrons but it seemed like a regular occurrence to make the path to the exit as congested as possible. I guess that is what teenagers have been up to in the last decade since I stopped being one. Hope your experience is better than mine.

I’m gonna make this short-n-simple. Everything in this theater is average(seating) to good(the employees) except for one HUGE negative: 3D movies. The 3D glasses cost two bucks and they’re so dark that you can barely see what’s happening on screen. Waste. Of. Money.
