I came here from NYC to visit the fam and decided to try something other than my usual Waffle House. This place is definitely unexpected in Goldsboro, NC. I was pleasantly surprised. The portions are equal to any authentic Mexican spot, with delicious flavors. The service is good and the décor is also great for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Will be coming back, esp because the price was right!

I give La Terraza 4 stars… but my wife would easily give them 10. They do serve up some pretty good mexican cuisine. But the thing I love most is their habanero hot sauce. It is homemade, and it is HOTT! My opinion is that if your mouth isn’t on fire when you leave a mexican restaurant, then you haven’t had a decent meal. Do yourself a big ol’ favor and ask for a bowl of this stuff! Oh, and their enchiladas are the best I’ve had around town.

Very good service awesomeness food is very authentic compared to Mexico. Chips and salsa are the best I had here in North Carolina. Will be returning again

Your typical run of the mill Mexican joint. Absolutely nothing special about this place. If you like bland Mexican food that is over priced you’ll love this place if not go anywhere else. I got the volcano burrito and it fell way short of the description. Save your money and just go bonfire or hell even taco hell

I really enjoy La Terraza! I am from Texas and I really like Tex-Mex. This is certainly not the same As tex mex, but it shall do while I am in Goldsboro. The chips and salsa are my favorite part! However 4 stars because their restroom is kind of gross.

Mediocre at best. Typical Mexican restaurant nothing to rave about by any means. The service was the overall negative about this joint. Poor mannered staff to keep it classy.

Only so-so food. Salsa was bland. Chimichangas could have been fried longer; not crispy enough. Only okay, not great.

This is my favorite restaurant in Goldsboro. It’s a little on the loud side, but we were able to have a conversation. I loved the music. It’s fun. We were seated and given chips and salsa right away even though it was almost full. They had $ 10 pitchers of beer that were a lot cheaper than buying them individually.($ 4) my son and daughter in law’s burritos looked amazing. BUT the guacamole made fresh table side was fantastic! The girl making it was sweet and had a great sense of humor. She was great without being annoying. The manager or owner was working pouring beers and bringing out food. There is a bar area, but it’s a little crowded because there is a table behind it that the servers were rolling silverware. I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s the best Mexican food in town. And because of the fresh guacamole! This stands out due to the authentic food and very friendly staff.

The food was OK. Nothing special. Just about the same menu as every other Mexican restaurant. The service was very friendly, but again, nothing to differentiate it.

My husband and I were in Golsboro and had a taste for Mexican food. We decided to go to this place because it was close to the mall. When we walked in I noticed it was pretty empty so I figured we would be served quickly. The waitress walked by us twice without asking for our drink order or food order. Now usually when you go to Mexican restaurant they offer salsa and chips while you wait but she didn’t bring anything to our table. So we waited about 10 minutes and decided to leave. The hostess asked if everything was okay. Well I guess if you consider having your guests wait for 10 minutes without water, chips or even asking for an order I guess it’s okay. We’ll never go there again!

This is my favorite Mexican joint in Goldsboro. Hands down they have the best and most authentic tacos in the area. I love the options of lengua, chorizo, tripe, and just about everything else you could ask for. The restaurant could be a little cleaner but the food and staff definitely make up for that small shortcoming. I see the owner every time I walk through the door. He works very hard to make it the best Mexican around.

Excellent service and food. First time here and will come back. I had the Burrito Azteca and my boyfriend has the Texas Fajita. Both overloaded with everything. Was not sure about the verde sauce so they offered a sample before ordering. Very nice people working here. Mucho Bueno!

No. Service was awful. The meal was not as good as I hoped. Greasy and unusual flavored and ingredients. It looked cheap on the plate and felt cheap and dirty on my tongue. The is a half dead plant in the corner of the restraint that had flies festering in it and around the room. All in all there are just much better options for Mexican food in Goldsboro.

Not a bad place. The salsa is very delicious!!! The service is a little slow but the food makes up for it.
