1÷21÷16 I my car sustained engine failure in traffic. At the recommendation of the responding officer Precision Body works was called for a tow. Literally less than ¼ mile. I then was told by the driver I would have to pay cash. He seemed irritated that all I had was plastic for payment so I had him call the office and paid with my American Express. Immediately after paying by phone I went into the service department at the dealership while I was inside the service department the service manager noticed that he was tilting my 2011 Cadillac CTS2 Door coupe without using blocks to prevent the front air dam from scraping the pavement. Literally the car was resting on the grill while he continued to raise the car. We went out and asked him to use blocks. The driver proceeded to off load the car without blocks. The car subsequently rolled back sustaining damage to the twin centered exhaust. The front air dam left and right as well as the wheel wells were damaged and required replacement. I contacted my Insurance company who attempted to contact Precision Body Works for remediation. Of course the driver denied he did anything wrong despite several witnesses to include the Service manager for the dealership. Fortunately I have coverage for vandalism however it comes with a deductible. Accidents happen and people make mistakes;however, for a business to not take responsibility for the actions of their employees despite evidence to the contrary is inexcusable. USEATYOUROWNRISK.
