Uniquely R’s

Now this place is a hidden gem in the revitalized downtown Goldsboro area. The front half of the Uniquely R’s is a boutique of gift, antiques, accessories and trinkets. What is amazing and a «must do» is the eating in the restaurant in the back of the store called, «The Gladstone». Their food is delicious and the atmosphere so charming with a limited supply of quiche’, coffees, wine and dessert. This is an excellent place to meet for a friends for a light bite to eat. This place is has a classy, intimate, romantic, grown vibe going for it. We started the night with «French-​Pressed» coffee, enjoyed an entrees of quiche’s and wine, and ended the night with amazing conversation and an assortment of rum cake, chocolate cheesecake and baklava. The staff beautifully serenaded the parlor guest with a song on piano. Really classy throw-​back experience. Will be going back again!

This place is definitely unique! In town for the NC Main Street Conference. This is a Beautiful one-​of-​a-​kind merchandise in the front part of the store and a delightful coffee/​tea experience in the rear.
Walking through this store and seeing the unique displays and merchandise really did remind me that I am unique and should be proud of who I am. It was evident that this is a stores it’s a message-​and it really saturates you
THEN we went to the back-​behind the velvet curtain. There is a delightful coffee/​tea/​eatery with plush seating and individual service. Goodies are baked fish every day and delivered by the chef. You HAVE to have a scone-​whatever flavor-​that is served with jam and Devonshire cream. AMAZING!

This wonderful gift boutique is a wonderful experience. The coffee beans, the candles, the beautiful décor and the friendly staff and owners makes this place a store I will visit again. The café in the back will take you back in time and the cheesecake was amazing.

They have a really nice selection of top notch coffee beans. It is whole bean and freshly ground when you place your order. It is expertly French Press brewed. The owners are really great people. A totally awesome experience.

This place takes you back in time. The theme of the store covers the 1920’s to 1960’s but don’t let it fool ya. They have some trendy trinkets, jewelry, attire, house décor, I mean really just a lot of cool stuff. I often go in just for visual entertainment.
But it doesn’t stop there. Take a trip to the back of the shop where they serve wine, coffee, tea, snacks and treats.
The employees and owners are super sweet, helpful and willing to go out of their way to make your shopping experience with them the absolute best.
It’s my favorite place to be when Im in downtown Goldsboro.
