This small park is located in southern Fauquier County along Route 17 just before Stafford County line. It is a well maintained park offering sports fields, a children’s playground, a picnic area, and seasonally their is a gold mining museum as this area was mined for gold ages ago. Unfortunately, the noise from cars and many trucks along Route 17 is almost constant. Also there is only a port-​a-​potty. Perhaps, when the museum is open there may be an indoor restroom. The museum is presently closed for winter.
