Really nice store, and friendly staff. This store has a great assortment and is always well stocked. They have a great hot food selection. Great customer service!

Sure, it’s the closest one by my house, but that’s not the only reason it’s my favorite 7-eleven in Goleta. Employees are typically nice and friendly but always working hard which I appreciate. Place is clean, organized and well stocked — almost always have what I’m looking for.

My only expectation for a 7 – 11 is that they sell Twinkies and Advil. Everything else seems moot most of the time, so I typically walk into one, slap a smile on my face, and get out. But this location blew my mind. I ran over(literally) because I needed an iPod cord(yes, I am one of the few who still owns and cherishes my iPod from six… seven…man, eight? years ago) and hoped they could help. As I walked in, an employee was cleaning the glass on the door, and he smiled as he pulled open the door for me. I walked through each aisle looking for cords. Though I didn’t see any, I did see that the place was impeccably spotless. Clean as can be from floor to ceiling. Even the food area looked 100% sanitary, and like you could eat off the countertops. I walked to the register and asked about cords, and the man cheerfully showed me a bin of miscellaneous knock-off Apple products, and even let me try the cord I thought would work in my iPod before I bought it. As he rung me up, he told me if I had any issues with it to come on back and return it/exchange it and he’d see if they could get me the right cord. And he smiled brightly. The window cleaning man smiled again as he held the door open on my way out and wished me a great day. I think the only thing that could have made this place better if it rained glitter and applause as you walked in and out and a cheerleader told you that you were doing a fantastic job at life. I’m only visiting Goleta but hot darn, I’d come back here for anything.

I am not sure any 7 – 11 can achieve greater than 2 stars. We only go there if we have to, right? It seems as if a brilliant idea based on the premise of convenience at a price. But, if you plan it right… it can be a helpful place. Let me explain. You can’t shop around for cheaper Lottery tickets, so a quick stop here is going to be much faster than a grocery store or the like. However, you getting your lottery ticket faster is not necessarily a good thing. Just ask the lady that let the recent Florida Powerball winner of 590 Million cut in front of her so she could buy a ticket. Read here: They also sell liter bottles of Fiji water 2 for $ 3 which is a pretty decent deal compared to a grocery store or any store. You’d probably have to buy in bulk to get that kind of discount. Some other review said the gas prices were high and you could go across the street to Chevron. That reviewer is high! The Chevron on the corner of Storke and Hollister was once reported as the highest gas price in the U.S. They are almost a dollar more per gallon than this 7 – 11. Read here: In general, these types of stores are a disservice to the common American. They are an enabler of Type II Diabetes and a champion of 3.2% beer.

Out of all the 7 – 11’s i’ve been too I had to say this location is my least favorite. The selection isn’t the best, they employees aren’t friendly and you can only get $ 10 cash back!?! Their gas is more than Chevron or Shell which both are right across the street!
