I am now spending my weekend replacing the electronic seat control button BOB broke off my Landcruiser seat. I saw him throwing my seats around like they were made of wood but figured he was a pro so I didn’t say anything. He told me it would be $ 360 to INSTALL my SEAT COVERS and after it was done he said it was $ 360 per seat so $ 720 total. This is just for taking off old leather and putting on covers I had already had custom made. He did not mention it was $ 360 PER SEAT when I got the estimate but I paid him because thats just the kind of person I am even tho this is a very high price for a two-​three hour job at the most. When I noticed that he had broken the button i mentioned it to him and he said «it was that way when I got it». I suggested that maybe he could do my arm rests for free or put in the new button and he didn’t seem to enthusiastic about it so now I am doing it myself and writing a Unilocal review about it. I run my own business and I make it right when I mess up so I don’t get bad reviews like this one. Did he do a descent job on my upholstry… yes Did he do damage in the process that I am somehow responsible to take care of now? yes. Was he clear on the price when he gave the estimate? no
