I grew up in Goleta but it had been decades since I had been to the Fairview. The last movie I saw here was «Adventures in Babysitting.» I was glad to see the theaters had been upgraded to stadium seating and I thought the sound was decent. It’s not a big place but I’m glad to see that it’s still standing and hasn’t gotten too rundown.

The people are friendly and popcorn is decent. When the picture is frozen it takes a while to restart the picture.

Santa Barbara, CA
4 small auditoriums and a minimal lobby tucked into a strip center parking lot with a Von’s, Wells Fargo, Micheal’s and Bed Bathe & Beyond. Hit a movie and do your shopping all in one trip.
I’ve yet to see this theater busy but I“m not here on weekends or opening days. Tucked away and quiet, the Fairview Theatre is convenient but that’s about it.
