Incompetent. I was growing out my hair and asked for a half inch trim but homie chopped it all off. Two stars cuz it looks alright but it wasn’t what I asked for.

Bottom Line: Long live the old-​school barber shop! This place is exactly what you need it to be — no nonsense
I started working close to this place so I had to give it a shot. Its exactly what it looks like; an old school barber shop.
The guys that work there are professionals and will get you looking sharp, quick. I have been here a few times and have been to Alex and Pete — both super professional. Just a couple quick questions and they are off.
Love the straight razor, tight fade.

Good people & by far the best barbers in the goleta/​santa barbara area
I’ve been going to goleta barbers for a year or 2 after trying out Goodland & some of the other spots around town. Unlike goodland where I wait an average of 90 mins-​2hrs, I usually wait 20 mins or so and sometimes can walk right in and get cut. UCSB students should check this place out because Goodland takes too damn long/isn’t that great.
I’ve gotten cut by Sergio, Alex, Hera and Pete (the owner) and would recommend all of them. The atmosphere is like a barbershop back home where you can chop it up and clown a bit. Seriously, give Goleta barbers a shot.

I have been going to another barber for over 20 years, this business is closer to me and more convenient. The building was built in the 1960’s and while there is nothing fancy, ie: tv’s all around, the ambiance reminds me of an old school hangout and greeted as you walk in, with immediate service was a plus for my first visit. Had a nice conversation with the barber and the haircut was done well and professional. Will be back!

I just wanted to let those considering to get a haircut to choose this location because they are wonderful people.
I haven’t gotten a haircut here but wanted to share that the Goleta Barbers are Angels & are all Heroes!
They saved my best friend’s life by running outside to lift a car off of her when she was run over by a car near this shop. She was being crushed under the car and they all helped to lift the vehicle from causing further injury.
Thank you from all her friends & family!

Discard the previous reviews. This place is exactly what it is, a barbershop. So if you can’t handle grown man talk then cut your own hair. But really though, everyone here is friendly and knows how to cut pretty good. Chillest shop in sb by far.

All barbers capable of giving good fades as well as all other haircuts, mostly a local crowd so if your not familiar with the area I could see how it would be awkward for you in that case do to the neighborhood fantastic sams and have them butcher your head

the staff was extremely rude, crude and outright offensive. no customer service whatsoever. they created a very hostile environment with their poor language and insensitivity. i will never support this business again.
