I’ve always loved outback, but the service the service here was a joke. We were a party of 8, it was totally slow and they say us by the restrooms, at a table for 6 people with and add table for 2, completely unacceptable … I’ve been an Outback employee, this would not have happened before

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Goleta. They know how to make steaks taste good and the price is reasonable. I came here on New Year’s Eve and the waitress was really kind and patient even though it was a busy time.

This is probably the worst Outbacks I’ve ever been to. The food was horrible, my steak was cooked to medium well when I ordered rare, my boyfriends chicken was so small and under cooked, and I couldn’t even drink my wallaby Darned. The server was great, he tried to do the best he could, we knew he couldn’t control the kitchen. The Outbacks out in Santa Clarita is amazing, but this one I will never go back to again.

I’ve eaten here a number of times and swore I’d not go back after they served me broccoli with a big rotten side to it(brown), but my friends like it here so I went back last week to have dinner with them. I like the table bread — it’s super delicious and sweet. I ordered a shrimp caesar salad and a side order of lobster tail. The lobster tail was big, luscious and flavorful — I would definately order it again. My salad was also good. I tried some of my friend’s mac n cheese side and that was tasty too. Our drinks were kept full and our server was attentive. Based on this visit I give it a 3 stars. Previous visits were 1 – 2. I think I’d come back though, since I liked this trip pretty well. Getting better, Outback!

Surprised at how good an experience it was. People pick on chain restaurants all the time, but the experience was good! Food was good and I enjoyed the vibe. Only thing I’d fix is the wait… a bit slow.

Basically like any other outback steakhouse and I usually try to stay away from reviewing chain restaurants but I have had many good times in this place, the steaks are great, as is the service and the drinks are big and strong like Arnold Swartzennagher!

The food is always good very consistent The parking is small if you are trying to stop while traveling with an Rv or trailer forget it. Service was kind of slow despite not being that busy.

Well. The salad was ok. Came with a gross looking puke green dressing. Our steaks, a sirloin and a ribeye were maybe something they found in the back of the cooler that they bought from a discount meat company. Bad flavor and poor quality. I have no idea why they are so busy, but if you want to wait 30 minutes for food you know is going to haunt you in the morning go try it out!

I usually get it to go. They have yet to get my order right. The sandwich was missing it’s fries one time, the potato missing it’s fixings another, a salad missing another time. So that’s annoying. The food is decent. But nothing to write home about. Double check your order before you drive away though!

Hmmm kitchen isn’t supposed to close until 9. We show up @ 8:49 and are turned away. Guess business is so good that you are turning away a party of 6.

Went with a group of 8, the service was ok, bad, food was horrible, no flavor 3 of us ordered the chicken kabobs, what we got was a flattened and dried out piece of chicken with some mushrooms that tasted like they boiled them, it was horrible biggest waste of time and money, unfriendly hostess and unhelpful staff ! Never again!

I decided to give out local Outback a chance. I literally hadn’t been back here in 10 years. My last experience at Outback in Salinas was one of the worst dinners I have ever had. we met here for Thursday night boys dinner and I was very skeptical. The table ordered the obligatory Blooming Onion and naturally the fried food was delicious. I wanted to test the exact same item I had ordered in Salinas so I ordered the Outback burger. It was really really good. At around $ 12.00, i was very happy. My buddies ordered the more expensive steaks and I think I got the better meal. I won’t hesitate to go here again for another guys dinner. Don’t think my vegetable loving wife would enjoy it though.

This place deserves no stars simply because it should not even be open to the public. If you’re looking to eat a meal that is, at the very least, better than your average home cooked meal, RUN. We made the mistake of giving this place a chance and ended up wasting 20 dollars each on the most disappointing meal I have ever seen. We each ordered the lobster tail and sirloin steak dish, and received a giant plate with an uncut potato, tiny steak, and shrimp-sized lobster tail. There was no butter on the plate. We couldn’t tell the potato apart from the steak. When the server corrected our order, it wasn’t much better. My steak did not have a shred of salt or pepper and the potato was over baked. The lobster tail was too small to even remember the taste of it. It ruined my night. You’re better off buying a frozen dinner at a grocery store than ordering the overpriced pathetic dishes from this restaurant. We will never be coming back and we hope this place closes down soon.

Well I can say this the service is excellent. How ever the food is what you would expect from s chain restaurant. Maybe if they had more quality control in the kitchen and if they had an expeditor the quality of the food would be better. However I don’t want to take anything away from the ambience of the restaurants the service is excellent the bartenders are great the management is awesome they just need a little bit of help in the kitchen.

The food at Outback is pretty good. I like ordering for to go which is always a pain because you can never find a spot in the Curbside takeaway spaces. You would think that with all the other restaurants in SB that Outback would suffer but they hold their own around here. If you go in the evening, you might have a little wait on busy evenings but on holidays, forget it!

Zero stars. Negative stars. This place should not be open to serve anyone. The blonde waitress didn’t even introduce herself so I can’t tell you which server to avoid if this is you do decide to come by. I ordered the blooming onion, ahi tuna, crab/avocado dip, calamari, and coconut shrimp, and clam chowder. Everything had three times the amount of salt that should have been necessary. I drank all my water within the first bites of every appetizer, and my waitress was nowhere to be found to refill it. I had to hunt people down for a simple refill and an order of ketchup. I usually eat pretty quickly, no longer than 30 – 45 minutes. We stayed there for about an hour and a half. It was ridiculous. She did forget one of our appetizers, but we did not want to try it anymore because everything was too salty. She still gave us the appetizer, free of charge, but again, I felt like my blood pressure went up 200 points. Absolutely the worst food I’ve had and the service did not help. Please do not come here. I regret the money spent on the pure salt that I ordered.

There is a sign on the door letting you know that they were rated as having the best clam chowder in Santa Barbara County and they’re RIGHT! I always liked Brophy’s chowder but this blows it away. Much more large and tender pieces of clam in a tasty mixture that would make a satisfying meal. I’m from Long Island and I grew up on chowder so I know what I’m talking about. (Free) Blooming onion Monday because Harvick ran top ten and my 12 oz steak had me leaving with leftovers. Thanks to Brandon for helping me through the extensive menu choices. I’d still be looking without his help and spectacular service. TOPNOTCH, Thanks!

I’ve been here a few times with service ranging from good to excellent. Me and my husband like to sit at the bar and we noticed service tends to be better there. Tonight our server was Brandon. It was pretty busy but he was always checking in on us. We never had an empty cup and he made sure we had fresh bread at the table(my biggest pet peeve at outback is waiters who never bother refilling the bread! I mean the bread is the best and I’m addicted!) so that was a huge plus for me. The food has always been exceptional. There is something about the sirloin at outback that gets my mouth drooling. It’s seriously delicious. Every time. Would definitely continue to eat here as long as they keep that bread on my table

We had an amazing experience at this Outback Steakhouse! The customer service was phenomenal and the food was delicious! We loved the Moonshine Ribs and Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp. We met the owner, Sunny, and he was super friendly and welcoming! Can’t wait to come back!
