Lovely setting. Order the buckwheat waffle, which consisted of two little waffles. They were very good but portion size petite. Hubby got the mushroom spinach omelette which was tasty. Due to the small portion sizes of entrees we ordered a side of chicken sausage which was delicious and needed.

Fresh local ingredients. Not afraid to pair w/unique ingredients like Asian cucumber. The lamb chop w/pita & hummus is delicious.

Only place worth eating at Bacara. Beatrice Ortiz(the manager I think) was on the ball and making sure her servers were taking care of the customers. Cassandra was our server and she did a great job of offering us things and presenting a very professional attitude. If only the other restaurants had this kind of oversight… perhaps the service would improve. The food was good, but pricey for what it is.

Great hotel but wasn’t terribly impressed with the food. The hummus dish was good but the soba noodle entrée was very salty! I didn’t feel it was worth it for an almost $ 40 lunch! I think breakfast might have better fare but if you’re coming for lunch expecting to have a hearty meal, you might want to look elsewhere as this is a «spa café» so you’re going to get light portions with everything.

Egg whites and arugula never tasted so good. Well executed. Solid service. Leisurely having breakfast with the husband — priceless.
