Service was amazing! The waiter was fun and outgoing. He even managed to make a crying baby laugh! The food was out of this world and we got lunch for tomorrow! Absolutely amazing!

Great food! Always get the orders correct.(I eat here a lot!) chicken could be less fatty but I am not expert on cooking. Grilled shrimp is surprisingly delicious for a Lebanese chain.

Wow. I have come here three times — the food is actually pretty good. But thats where the compliments end. ONE-STARFORONEREASON *HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE* Three reasons: +the staff does not care about the patrons — they are inefficient, rude, careless, etc. +the staff cannot get orders correct — two times I have gotten my order slightly wrong including just recently when I was charged for tahini /hot sauce(first who charges for this) and they«forgot» to give it — but this goes back to the first point re. the staff +there is no way to get ahold of the manager — manager if you read this, I understand why you are currently hiring — the staff right now for a lack of a better term is just plain BAD I called another Albasha and they were much more welcoming — I rather drive an extra 5 miles than come back to your worthless staff and subpar service

We took a trip the Tanger outlets today and was recommended to go to Albasha. Definitely did not disappoint! The food was amazing and our server Chaz was super friendly and personal. Great place to check out.

Good food, good service… I make it a point to frequent this restaurant when I am in the area in business. The food is fresh and the spice palette is true to the culture, can’t beat the prices either!

Place smells delicious. Super busy. Food is as advertised. Portions are good. The day I’ve come to indulge in it though has left me late for a training class. The service was less than stellar.

The Togo lady was disrespectful. She was not efficient either. We let her know we had two orders, she takes one order, then begins to walk in the back, wasting time when she could have taken the other order then walk in the back to get other orders. She had an attitude. The others seem to be good. Yeah. The food is on point, but she ruined the experience.

I ate here twice in my two week stay in Gonzales. I had the gyro plate, and a rack of lamb the second time. Both are excellent choices. The gyros are the second best I haveever had. The best were in Brussels of all places. The rack of lamb was nicely seasoned bringing out the lamb flavor. It seems that many lamb dishes seem to cover up the flavor. They were cooked corectly as ordered not over done as most places seem to do. The prices are very reasonable and I think this restaurant is one of the best values I found in my two week stay in Gonzalez.

OMG this was my first time trying Greek Lebanese food. It was excellent! I am completely hooked on Chicken Schwarma

Went here with a coworker for lunch. Having not been here before I ordered the smaller plate. It contained two stuffed grape leaves, Greek salad, hummus, moussaka, and spinach pie. The spinach pie was very good. The hummus was OK, it lacked the sesame flavor I like in this dish. The salad was more like a Caesar than Greek with a creamy type dressing. The grape leaves were stuffed with rice and were tender, but lacked any spice or flavor. The moussaka was bland as well. Layers of eggplant and tomatoes, but not spices and it lacked salt. Not sure if it is just the vegetarian dishes that lack flavor. I was disappointed with the lack of seasoning and spices in the food. I expected alot more considering all the positive reviews.

This is a great place for Greek food. The chicken swarma and gyros plate is on point! Plenty of food to fill you up and leave you with leftovers(warning: it will leave your fridge smelling like garlic). The hummus is great, too, and you can tell it’s actually made in-house. This place has a perfect way of seasoning their food so you get that Greek taste without any overpowering garlic or salt flavors. Highly recommended.

I am on a business trip and found this place near the hotel. I had a combination plate with hummus, lamb kabob and some appetizers. The lamb was really tender and overall the quality was very good. Very pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back if I am in the area again.

Super service, huge portions for a really good price. We will be back. Great food. The platter is big enough for 2.

Came here for lunch with a group of 10 and all with separate checks. The food was as good as anywhere else I’ve been for Greek. The waiter did an excellent job. All of the orders and checks were correct. Other than the food taking a little longer than it should have, everything was really delicious and fresh. The hummos was plate licking good. The plates are huge and very reasonably priced. I will definitely eat here again when in the area.

Terrible service… young male waiter didn’t even put our app order in… can only guess that he was upset that my spouse and I wanted to split the app and an entrée due to our watching our weight. No excuse for not giving good service… we always tip generously as we know our bill will be lower due to sharing. We tipped very low in this case due to his poor service. Food wasn’t anything to rave about either.

I was not impressed with the food taste or quality. There was a large portion of food provided on the entrées, but that does not compensate for the lack of taste.

I remember I used to come here every Thursday, be starving, and order the chicken shawarma and gyro combo plate. I can’t speak for the other food, but the combo plate is quite tasty! It comes with pita, lettuce, rice, and hummus, so it’s perfect to make your own sandwich type thing or just mix it all together(which is what I do). Service was great and food was yum. Awesome place in Gonzales for lunch.

Consistently good food. Albasha’s is more Lebanese than Greek but very good all the same. I have been eating at Albasha for over 20 years and I have to say they are one of the most consistent restaurants around. They are all located in strip malls and pretty consistent with their casual décor at all of the locations. The Hwy 30 location is no exception when it comes to the amount and quality of food served. The shrimp spinach salad and shrimp kabobs are amazing and satisfies the Cajun in me every time. The eggplant mousaka and baba ganoush have always been favorites as well as the Lamb shank which literally melts in your mouth. Cabbage rolls and grape leaves are moist and seasoned with just the right amount of seasoning. The Albasha platter is the perfect size for two people and offers a varied choice of sides. The mezza for two will feed my family of 4 and we are all very satisfied with our options and substitutions can be made to any of the menu items. They also offer vegetarian platter with lots of veggie options so you can create your own plate. This location has two tvs and a bar area separated by a half wall. The service is ho hum and I wish the servers were as consistent and good as the food. Mitch is by far the best server at this location so request his table if he is working, others are just subpar, but the food and price make up for it.

I’ve been there twice. Food is good. I don’t think it’s great — meat seems a little dry. The platters are good, but smallish. The wait staff seem like they don’t want to be there — no smiles — not welcoming — kinda like they are too macho to be attending to the customers. This place could be better, but there just seems to be so little GREEKLIFE in the place — maybe the financial difficulties in Greece has impacted the restaurant?

Very busy place. Great for a quick lunch. Nice seating for the size. Attentive staff. I, personally found I don’t enjoy the cuisine but everything seemed well prepared. Nicely presented. Good selection. Others in my party really enjoyed their entrees.
