Izzo’s Illegal Burrito

After several visits because of their location being so convenient, I’ve come to the conclusion this is
one step up from Taco Bell. The guacamole is the only redeeming item they offer. I can’t even say the chips are worth the calories. The staff is comprised of kids who are not well versed in customer relations or have any cleaning abilities whatsoever. Until I see other reviews stating differently, this one is crossed off my eatery list.

The service is really good! Food is just as nice. If you want something BIG and simple, come here. The airline location is in a good spot. Their pinto beans are really good as well. I normally get the burrito salad. The drinks are always fresh also. Meals are very cheep too!

Great nachos. Fun friendly atmosphere. I’d call it good Mexican fast food. Kid friendly and I will defiantly go back.

The food is always good but we have stopped going because the workers are rude and clueless. One time they will charge you for something, the next time they won’t. There is no consistency regarding the amount of toppings you get. Let’s not even begin to discuss how filthy it has been every single time I have gone. Time for new management and new workers!

Really enjoy eating here. The quesadilla’s and burritos are great. Same for the salads. Great price, great service and good food. Only thing that is a negative is for some reason it is hard to hear the people behind the counter. Overall good place to eat.

Fresh salad. All vegetables were fresh. The pulled pork was delicious. I’ll try it again to ensure the quality is still there.
Personnel could be a bit more personable.

My husband and I visited Izzo’s in Gonzales for the first time and I would like to think it was very refreshing.
Our burrito were amazing and the staff was super nice! I got the chicken burrito that was to die for and my husband got the double steak with habanero sauce. The girl that was making our burritos was very helpful and kept insisting that my husband did not want the habanero sauce on his burrito as it was very hot. But he insisted and it was HOT, he enjoyed it but it was to much for me.
This is a newer building and I believe It was very nice, I loved the décor and more importantly I didn’t feel dirty eating there.

Great location. Quick service. Kinda pricey but I love their soda selection. Nice and clean. Employees are well supervised.

This place should not be rated five stars. I’ve been here twice, the food is just NOT good. The first time I came and got a chicken burrito. The chicken was burnt and the corn was burnt. The «salsa» was disgusting. It kinda reminds me of a Moe’s, which also isn’t very good but at least has this place beat. The style of service at Izzo’s copies Chipotle, but that’s essentially where it stops. I realize I am totally spoiled by Chipotle’s fresh, organic choices but the quality of food here is very low. Decided to pay it a second visit before forming an opinion because anyone can have an off night. This place is really close to my home so I wanted it to be good. Again: dry chicken, burnt corn and the food prep area was gross. I realize this place is run by what I would consider «kids». But there were seven people behind the counter, one of them could have been on housekeeping duty. I only wanted a ground beef salad as a short cut to some nachos I was planning to make at home. I instead decided to cancel my order, go over to LeBlanc’s, buy groceries and cook. I will not be returning to this place. Not worth the 10 bucks.

Always packed with patrons which means its good, food is always fresh, they are consistent with «its a $ more, is that ok?» To the point where its annoying but they are on their A game. Definetely ! If youre there try the nachos or salads they are awesome!

My initial thoughts when I walked into Izzo’s were good. The place was very clean, and the workers were very polite. The prices were fairly average. I got a small burrito with chips and dip. Which cost only 8 $. The menu was well rounded with a bunch of options to choose from. The bathrooms should also be noted. They were extremely clean, and probably the best bathrooms I’ve seen.
