On this day in history, I sought out toughest sob shoe ever made. I parted ways w/Nike since they are mostly for looks & I’ve worn em out like some people wear their underwear inside out, backwards & reverse or a crazy ex girlfriend that just won’t go away. However, if you know me. I’m like a Swiss army knife, a tactician of sorts & need something practical/functional & built like a tank. After conducting much research & discussing it over with some fellow YouTube colleagues, I decided to give the reebok nano 5.0 a try, outer layer made of kevlar. I needed a shoe that can take a beating & still keeping ticking(sorta like Brad Pitts face in the movie Fight Club). Just so you know, I’m not partial to any one brand, I spread my love around like a flower child of the 70’s, I have a Brooks pure connect at home for running, custom designed puma for stunning & mtn biking, vibram 5 finger toe for trails, lacoste white gators for casual ‘easy like Sunday mornings’, an old fitted adidas for long distance days & then some. I needed a pair for weightlifting & crossfitness like workouts that would stabilize my heel & withstand the abrasion & hiit(ninja) training impact. I would still like to test the 5.11 recon trainer $ 79, the up & coming new balance(minumus weight lifting/cross training) shoe coming out in January which is also waterproof $ 99: mxz20v5 model(yes I actually memorized it). So, on to the retail outlet. I’m sure you’re wanting to know if they have a good steal of a deal & if it’s worth checking out. I would say, there is a limited selection, mostly old models/colors that didn’t sell as well or being being phased out in regular stores. The prices are not that competitive but when I went in on this particular day they had a ‘bogo’ deal where you buy the 1st pair at the sale price & get another sneaker fit $ 20. So, bam! there’s your divo deal. The service technicians were not that knowledgeable when it came to product intimate specialization but on a + they did ask me if I was finding everything alright while I was tearing through a array of boxes in the back like some rabid honey badger. It’s worth a look, a gander, I personally wouldn’t come to the tanger outlet mall on the weekend but then again I don’t shop at Wal-Mart during prime hours on a normal day. You may find a better deal online & save yourself from the horrendous 9.5% tax locally. Good luck sneaker shopping. Get your fitness on & treat ya’self!
