Consistently inconsistent. I LOVE the food when it is served hot. It’s also nice when I don’t have to wait an hour to get my lunch. The business hours are until 10PM, but they are rarely open past 8. Today at 7PM they were closed. When the employees are at the restaurant, there isn’t enough staff to serve the customers quickly. And don’t try to call ahead to save time, they don’t answer the phone when busy! The food is wonderful, but you might have to wait!

If you are looking for good value you will find it here. Combos with burger, fries, and can coke are about $ 8.00. The menu also includes chicken sandwiches and wings, also reasonable in price. I found the burger to be flavorful and had a good bit of seasoning but the color and texture was strange to me. The burger was WELL done and maybe that is why??? Maybe they put Worcester sauce in it? Something was just off, but not necessarily bad. Just different. The twist perhaps? The fries were good, frozen fries. Nothing special, but enjoyable.

One of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever eaten :-) very filling. I normally only eat half and save the rest for lunch the next day. Fast service, I always call in a to go order and by the time I get there 10 minutes later it’s ready.

The burgers are really good! When I went the bread had a sour taste. Buns were greasy. They put lots of meat on mine.

I don’t often crave a hamburger but I did today and thought I would give this place a try. The place doesn’t look very clean on the inside, no paper towels in the restroom and you nearly trip on the mop bucket and a tray if buns coming out of the bathroom(and storing hamburger buns next to cleaning fluids seems like a health code issue). I ordered the twisted burger, it took about 5 – 7 minutes to be ready which was fine. I cut it in half because the portion size was too big for me but probably fine for most. I think it had the potential to be really good but way too salty! Not sure what it is about south Louisiana restaurants that think everything has to be extremely salty to be good. Too big and too salty– won’t be back.

Great food. Nice people. I had the shrimp stuffed twisted burger and my wife had the bbq burger. Both were great and came out fast.

So went back to Twisted Burger today, No one else was there. Got the Twisted Burger Combo and it was fast, like scary fast. Like, they took a burger that was already cooked and sitting there for who knows how long, tossed it on the bread with the other fix’ns and served it. You could tell from the burger, as it was dry. But to be honest, it was fine cause once they add the bbq sauce, it doesn’t seem as dry. There’s a fine line between having a burger joint serving burgers that were cooked a long time ago and taking the time to cook fresh. Fast food joints have burgers that were cooked a while back, but they even have fairly strict rules on how long they can stick around before they have to throw them away. I hope they self regulate here. I wonder if they consider themselves a fast-food burger joint or a fresh joint. Either way, with no one there, they are faster. Tip: only go when it’s not busy, this rule still remains the same for me. Suggestion to the Restaurant: Define yourself. Do you have a burger joint to just quickly serve burgers? Are your employees there to just take orders and serve burgers? Or are you trying to be the place to go for fresh burgers(maybe you’re not, not saying you need to be)? Are employees there to help accomplish that mission or are they going through the motions in order to collect a paycheck? If leadership doesn’t care or know, then employees won’t either.

Had launch here with a coworker. We both ordered twisted burger combos. The fries were OK. nothing special. I had the twisted shrimp burger. The burger was dry and the shrimp were over cooked. Didn’t have much of a taste. Where was the BBQ and twisted mayo? I was expecting more with a name like Twisted Burger.

Service was ok at best, was greeted upon arrival, but person was on her cell phone and never got off phone the entire time we were there nor did she excuse herself so we didn’t have to hear her conversation. Ordered two Twisted Burger Combos and a kids hot dog meal, food came out literally in 4 mins, fries were cold and limp, burgers were warm at best, one burger was not as we had ordered, both of the fried eggs on the burgers were old and rubbery. The hot dog had been cooked sometime this week, I say that because it had a pale brown color to it and had sat in water for who knows how long. The table we sat at was not clean, had salt and crumbs on it. For being the only customers in the place I would have thought our food would have been über fresh, but no the case at all. We will not be going back.

Loved the Twisted Burger and spicy fries. Very friendly staff. Nice little place. We are from out of town but it was easy to find. Will visit again when we come back.

Great little burger spot just outside of Pelican Point in Gonzales. Fresh made burgers, very tasty, well seasoned and a good size. The staff is friendly. There is sometimes a little wait because so many people order take out. I’ve seen guys pick up large orders, likely for nearby plant workers. If you want to eat in, dining area isn’t terrific, but it’s fine for a burger place. There is no where else around there that has good homemade burgers. Twisted Burgers is a welcome change to some of the other food places that have tried, but failed to succeed in this location.

We stumbled across this place in March enroute to Lafayette. It’s in a strip mall south off I-10 a couple of miles. We were looking for a good local lunch and found it. The food was just fine and the staff was friendly. We ate at the table outdoors so that we could let our dog stretch her legs after a long drive. My wife had a grilled chicken salad and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Both were just fine. The burger was ample and uniquely seasoned. The owner struck up a conversation with me. He’s a very nice guy, interested in how we found them and how we liked the food. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I’d return.

This burger rocks. It taste like it’s off the grill. Service was a bit slow but that is forgivable on a new spot with tasty food.

Good service and a great burger! I ordered the Twisted Burger which was a great choice. The burger was hand made with all the fixings, twisted sauce(made in house) and topped with a fried egg. Overall I give the service a 4.5, the burger a 5 and the fries a 4. I will definitely be back.

I had the Twisted Burger combo. It was ok. After, hearing about this place, I had hopes of exotic ingredients and modern twist on burgers like the places in BR. But, that is not the case. The burger was standard issue, well seasoned(salt. pepper, tony’s?) hefty portion; but, nothing special. The«Twisted Sauce» was overly sweet BBQ sauce. Drinks served in a can, no plates, or silverware, just a bag or basket. The restaurant was a let down. Where’s the beer, sports, and paint? The walls are white… everywhere. Coupled with the furniture, it kind of felt like eating in a cafeteria. They had the news on the TV and they don’t serve alcohol.

Small burger joint near Pelican Point. When I walked in, we were greeted and handed a menu to overlook. I ordered the bbq cheddar melt. It came shortly and was well seasoned and spicy. The fries were cold. I could tell they were sitting out since lunch. The buns were regular store buns and the drinks were 12 oz cans. multiple flavors.
Wings were fried on order and we’re delicious and the fridge that came with it were hot. This place would have received a 4 if we ordered wings only. They tasted like homemade fried chicken wings! Yummy! The tables seated about 2 – 3 people, but there was one regular take in the back. So, if you plan on dining in beware of space. The table had crumbs on it and the covers in all of the tables needed a more professional polished look. I guess they just needed to look clean.
