Country Inn & Suites

First stay at a Carlson property. Clean, big breakfast room with a number of selection, good lighting in the parking lot. Just off of I65 and I got a good rate.

The hotel is nice, clean with friendly staff. The daily breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but hey it’s included with the price of the room so you really can’t complain.

The stars are only related to the misinformation about the spa/​jacuzzi. I didn’t stay in the room but it looked very nice and clean. The desk staff was very nice and when I complained that the website, pictures and even the sign in the hall indicated that there was a spa/​jacuzzi. There was not. It had been filled in with concrete at some point and the information never updated. The desk staff advised me that the owner has asked, as they are franchised, and corporate has not changed it. Shame on corporate! If I had not specifically chosen a hotel based on the indoor pool AND jacuzzi I would have stayed but as it were I did. They refunded my money (hopefully) without fuss and I went to comfort inn instead.

We booked this hotel while driving back from Florida. It was a great price, the primary reason we picked it. When we arrived we were thrilled to find it was clean, the staff was friendly, and they had a nice indoor pool for the kids. Front desk recommended a pizza delivery that was fantastic. Will definitely stay here next time we’re passing through.

This was our first stay at this hotel. I am changing my reviews somewhat since the review is about a single room that we had plus the general hotel amenities. Other rooms on the hotel may not be the same s the one we had. It was room 308. The lobby was clean and the desk clerk most courteous and efficient. We went out for dinner and came back only to find our room door open. After checking it was determined that the lock was not working properly and unless one forced the door forward the lock would not work. This was reported to the desk clerk who cam tot eh room and found that the striker plate was misaligned and they would correct that before the next guests checked in in the meantime I would need to force the door closed.
The carpet in the room was clean as was the bedroom area and the couch. There was a spot on the ottoman that should have been cleaned. The bathroom was very good however there as no soap dish in the shower. The walls in the shower also are in need of calking as it appears there was mold. I looked and that was not the case, it was just the missing caulking. Bath room amenities were good as was the bath towels and hand towels. The toilet tissue was a few grades above sandpaper. The lighting in the suite was very good and the heat and air-​conditioning worked great. The mattress was a little too soft for our likes however some people would probably find that softness perfect.
The microwave was clean as was the refrigerator. Internet service had a quick hookup and the speed was more than adequate. Check out was quick and accurate. This is a nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent with several hot items such as eggs, sausage and biscuit and gravy. There was fresh fruit, yogurt and all kinds of breads and sweets. The dining area was kept clean and the food items full.
The hotel has a small workout room and it also has laundry facilities. I have read some of the other reviews and I am not certain those reviews pertain to this location and certainly not to the room we stayed in. The hotel is located on a small hill so getting to it and out of the parking lot requires one to be attentive.

Great service, friendly staff! Very clean and hot breakfast to start your day off right! Just a stayed one night but would definitely stay again and the price is right!

Large king size suite with a comfortable bed. Shower had low water pressure. Stayed for 6 days about a week ago & checked four different times and the pool was always cold & the hot tub was hot but it never did work (bubble). Breakfast had hot waffles, biscuits with thin gravy, & the eggs tasted like powdered eggs. And they had NO COOKIES !!! I never knew of a Country Inn that did not have cookies !

Great hotel. Clean, friendly service, nice tv and comfortable beds. Easy on/​off of I65.
