I have to counter the 2 negative reviews. Every restaurant has a bad day. This place is busy and its a good sign that it’s a healthy business. I had a club sandwich and my sister had eggs and toast. Good food, good diner style presentation. I can’t help but say its a nice little diner that fits the niche for the community. Stop by and enjoy, everyone else is.

Hard to mess up a grilled cheese and fries but they did. Decent bread but 1 slice of a kraft single(uh, yuck) and fries that needed way more time in the frier. Service was slow with only one table in there. Was very hot as well. Bathroom was nice.

Went there last Saturday morning. Noticed that almost everyone was waiting for their food. Took about five minutes to get us coffee and another five to take our order. Coffee was extremely weak. Sat for about 30 minutes. Asked if our order had even been started yet. It had not, so we walked out. Do not come here unless you have a couple of hours to kill for breakfast.

Best breakfast in the area(Goodrich/Ortonville) by far. Gary, the owner, is the main cook and is very friendly. Nice staff and the cooking/prep. area is open with bar stool style seating close to it. Atmosphere is friendly, neighborly and often filled with good conversation… sometimes with multiple tables chiming in. The regulars get their own coffee mug with their name on it served to them when they come in. Typical breakfast/lunch menu with some surprises. Awesome Greek & Hawaiian Omelets. Great French Toast, Hash Browns and a Breakfast Burger among others. Price is moderate, but well worth it as the food is well above average. Not open for dinner.
