Yong-In Master An’s Taekwondo

My son attended the Surprise location for about a year. Then one day, a new master appeared and explained that he would be taking over the classes. For the next three weeks, we had to endure a new lesson plan that involved everything my son was taught at the beginning belt. Christmas break came and classes were to resume after the new year. Come to find out, the master was missing and no one knew where he was, including Master An. Classes were being cancelled and instructors were leaving. We stopped payment and received a phone call from a new master explaining he would be taking over as the new instructor. We declined. A few days ago we went out for dinner and there was a notice on the school’s door explaining that classes would no longer resume because of the landlord. Shame on Master An for exiting the way he did with no explanation. Very poor business practice.

My children have been attending Yong-​In TKD for 2 years after being at 2 other local TKD schools in Litchfield Park and Goodyear. This is the first school where they have properly learned proper forms and techniques that are in line with the World Taekwondo Federation and recognized by Kukkiwon, the organization that certifies black belts in TKD worldwide. My daughter was able to place in state competitions and attain her black belt under guidance of Master An.

Great TKD facility. Thorough instruction on form while instilling discipline, respect, and confidence. Cost is fair.

Before you sign up here beware of hidden costs. Testing prices go up all the time. Last testing in Surprise was $ 90 black belt testing is $ 600. Needless to say we changed schools.

Amazing! We have been so extremely happy with Master An and all of the instructors. We have seen such growth in our son on many levels including overall confidence and discipline. Excited for our youngest son to join!
