Quaint coffee shop. serving Coffee by Design. It has character and free WiFi. Street & lot parking is limited. Once I waited for 8 minutes for someone to take my order. there was no one behind the counter! And when he came, he wasn’t very friendly. Good spot but, for me, not the complete package.

Favorite meeting place in Gorham! I’m not a big coffee drinker, but the space is comfy and accommodating, staff is super nice and helpful, and the hot chocolate is great! I love that they have soup for lunch, too. And the best part is how often I run into someone I know at the Gorham grind– it’s a great part of the community! Keep up the good work!

I really loved this place and was sure to visit with time to hang out every time I visited my parents in Maine. The coffee and treats were always good and the atmosphere begs you to stay and hang out for awhile. The artwork they displayed was great too — I even ended up buying some photo prints of local places for a Christmas gift! Missing Gorham Grind is one of the many reasons I’m sad my parents have moved away.

I went in for the second time in a week since discovering the place and I was pretty disappointed. I got a hot pumpkin coffee, and it was so burnt. I never throw anything out, but I drank half of it and couldn’t muster to drink the rest so had to. I had been there just two days before and the two women staff were great, but the man I encountered the second time was rude. Also, the bagel my sister got was sub par. It had very minimal cream cheese, and was pretty flat for being a bagel. My first trip here was a total 180 from my second trip, and honestly the second trip will probably prevent me from going in again very often.

In my earlier review I wrote about my one big complaint: the seats by the windows – prime real estate for people watching– with cushions that were torn, taped and in need of replacing. Not long after the owner stated he agreed and would have them replaced. And guess what?! Like a week later there are now beautiful new chairs! Excellent service and responsiveness! I’ll be sure to come here more often!

This place is absolutely amazing please try their signature rocket fuel it is out of this world. It’s a nice small shop quiet when we got there. They have soup and bagels and iced coffee in a bottle to go. Absolutely a must visit if you love coffee.

This is the perfect small town coffee set-up: right in the heart of downtown Gorham and down the street from USM. I spent many days here in-between classes gulping down coffee and eating bakery sweets. I love how they have a drink special on the board every day, whether it’s a Black Forest Latte or some Tiramisu concoction, it’s always delicious. In the fall time I’m pretty sure they offer hot cider as well! The staff is always friendly and it’s reassuring when you see the place fill up with town locals throughout the day. A sweet spot you should definitely check out!

I am in love! They are totally worth the price! There is quite certainly nothing greater than waking up early on a Saturday, hopping on my scooter and making my way to the Gorham Grind for some delicious rocket fuel! I have turned many friends into Gorham Grind lovers! They have yummy treats and great lattes!!! A Gorham must!!!

Breakfast burritos were great and coffee was too! Favorite local spot close to home. Just wish there was a better parking witch, but still better than downtown Portland.

My wife and I stopped in for some iced coffee on our drive to Portland. We very much enjoyed our visit to the Gorham Grind. We ordered two large iced coffees; our order was taken promptly. Before our order was made the person working the counter offered us a free sample of their Iced Rocket Fuel. ITWASINCREDIBLE(and loaded with caffeine)!!! My wife and I immediately switched our orders to large versions of the iced Rocket Fuel. We also purchased a small cookie that was for sale next to the register. Everything was delicious. I can say that I was surprised by the cost. The two large iced«Rocket Fuel» and the small cookie came to just under $ 15. Next time I am close by, I will be sure to stop in and try a breakfast sandwich.

One of my favorite reasons to use Unilocal is to find the local coffeehouse of whatever city I’m in. Call me a coffee snob(or a cliché hipster), but I just can’t drink the sludge that those orange and pink colored or Canadian chains make(and definitely not from any gas stations). So, when I asked Ye Olde Unilocal Mobile App where to get my java on in Gorham, Maine the appropriately named«The Gorham Grind» seemed like the perfect place! And it really, really was. My go-to at every coffee shop is usually a soy latte(sometimes with an extra shot); and, the one I got here was delicious. Then again, they’re using Coffee By Design coffee beans — of which I’m a HUGE fan — so what’s there not to love? The barista expertly pulled the shot of espresso so my drink was smooth and not bitter or dry at all. The place, at 8:30am, was already hopping. People were having business meetings, hanging out with friends, there were dads with little ones in tow, and loads of people working/studying solo on their laptops. And isn’t that a telltale sign of an excellent coffee house? Where people of all demographics come together to worship the bean that fuels them to productivity and alertness? If you love good coffee then definitely check out The Gorham Grind if you’re in the area or swinging through! I know I will again!

Exactly the coffeeshop every college town needs. Warm, inviting, and friendly. The Grind set up shop in Gorham about 11 years ago, and it has made Gorham a better place because of it. I know so many people that use it as a hub to work, meet up for business or creative endeavors, or connect with people. Carson has really cultivated a special place here, and it continues to be so. Their drinks are fun and inventive and will always feature different lattes and drinks to try out. This was the place I discovered a Red Eye Chai for the first time. Love it! Oh Rocket Fuel, their special brew — I love it so. It makes me talk really fast and might keep me up all night… but I live on the edge, friends! If you need a sweet super powered coffee drink — this is what you need! Whether you are stopping to grab and go or to settle in for a bit, the Grind will welcome you kindly. Note — if you are buying anything under $ 5, bring cash. It’s a small business trying to be efficient. If you are cranky about this, then buy a pound of Coffee by Design or a lovely mug. Have a heart people!

Not all that impressive. Muffin was so cold I thought it came from fridge. Also, it was very heavy. Good wifi spot. Coffee was just okay but Splenda, half and half fixins area was about out. One girl working. Very pleasant but frazzled trying to keep up.
