Don’t zip down 28 too quickly as you get out of the craziness near the 28 bypass! This place is wonderful. Staff is so friendly and food was tasty.
Had their signature potato soup and a good club sandwich. Their home made salad dressings are very good with in house croutons.
Very pleasantly surprised by this local hideaway.
Avoid the chains! Eat local!

This is a little spot off the road that recently went under new ownership. It is nicely remodeled inside. Though the food is pretty much American fare, it was a step above the bar and grill food you usually find locally. We went as a party of three, and each of us loved our food. Good portions, and great seasoning. We were told they are particularly known for rib night, however they were out of ribs that particular evening. The service was great, and the restaurant was not overly busy. There is a bar area separate from the dining room. Definitely a step up from the local chain fare in the area. We will return for the excellent service and a shot at those ribs!
