Blooming Nails

After years of manis + pedis, I’m a bit particular when it comes to getting my nails done. This spot is dated but at least it says something that they’ve been around for 10+ years. The ambiance is the reason I docked a star but what makes Blooming Nails stand out is their quality of service. The ladies are so polite and friendly. There isn’t loud chatter but they speak nicely to all their customers and are on a first name basis with everyone that walks through the door.
I had a gel mani before so they charged $ 5 to remove it. Pat did a good job, checked on me often to make sure my nails were really dry before I left. The neck massage was nice while I was drying too. I asked about nail designs but I think only the owner does them it seems and they didn’t have samples. I was thinking of getting half-​moon and they wanted to charge an extra $ 10, not sure if that is way more than for their French. Guess I’ll find out next time.
They accept credit cards, however be aware that they ask for a $ 20 minimum. Plenty of parking. I’ll be back I’m sure.

I found this place on Unilocal while traveling, and the reviews convinced me to stop in. I had a great experience! My tech Pat was fantastic and did a great job on my gel manicure. She was very friendly and polite. Definitely recommend!

This salon has been around for a LONG time, and there’s a reason why. They care about their customers!!! Every time I go in, whether it’s by appointment or just walk in, the owners always say hello. I used to go there regularly about 8 years ago with my daughter and then months old granddaughter. That child is now 8. I visited the salon over the summer, and they immediately remembered my name and my family’s names. They are very caring, thoughtful and talented women, all of them. I wish I still lived nearby. Miss them very much.

The nail techs are so friendly. I love that they all dress in white. The hot stones included in the pedicure are amazing! They massage your shoulders during your manicure. They really pay close attention to detail. My nails are always filed evenly.
5 stars for the nails — 3 for waxing (I would go back for that service in a pinch if I had to).
