When I was a little kid, I was fascinated with the place, probably because it had the same name as a cabin at my summer camp, and because it glowed with an eerie blue light and I wasn’t allowed to go inside. As a teenager and college student, I wouldn’t have gone inside. As an older and wiser gal, I appreciate the $ 1 drafts, the quiet, and the ability to hide out in a small town.

The Dew Drop Inn is a great townie bar that makes for a quiet escape if the bar next door is overrun with seasonal visitors.
The drinks are cheap ($ 1 drafts? I love you, IN). The space is divey but clean enough. And the people are real.
If you like a good dive bar or just need a spot to hide out, it’s hard to beat the Dew!
