Dirr Nuseries is THE prime tree destination, they have just about everything you could possibly need and consist of some of the best looking trees. The drive there is easy and peaceful and when you get up there the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and are more than happy to assist you. On top of that there is free hot chocolate; making Dirr nurseries a fun and great place for the family.

My husband and I have cut down our Christmas tree at Dirr Nurseries for the past six years. I hope it will always remain our tradition. It’s more than just getting a tree– it’s an experience. For instance, after you cut the tree, the staff put it in a «tree shaker,» which casts off the dead and loose needles. It is also hilarious to watch.
There are a variety of sizes, shapes and species of trees available.
They have rotating availability of different tree species from year to year, so check out their website for details. Our favorites have been Cannan Firs and Scotch Pines.
