Goshen College

I can’t speak to the quality of the college itself, but if the education here is half as good as the employees here, it’s a great school. We visited the campus today to see an exhibition and every single employee we met were friendly, outgoing, willing to answer any questions we had about the school and its’ educational focus.
We had never heard of Goshen College before but we will definitely remember it going forward and make sure to keep it in mind for when our daughter decides what she wants to major in when she’s at the college selection phase!

A national liberal arts college (Carnegie Classification) right here in little ol’ Goshen. Goshen College is a school where the values and mission of the place are what set it apart. Every student spends a semester in another culture, usually in a third world country. I’m a grad. I spent a semester in Honduras. You learn things about yourself, your culture, your values that you never would have in a classroom.
GC is also a great school for the arts – music, theater, art, with two nationally recognized performing venues (Umble Center, Music Center). Strong nursing program, strong communications program, global center for anabaptism, the Mennonite Historical Library and Mennonite Archives. Technology is good. Financial Aid is generous. It’s a least debt school.
