Frequent staff turnover and terrible customer service. Stay far away.

My daughter was seen at this office 3 separate times for resin-​based composite fillings. I was given a list of how much each visit was going to cost me out of pocket up front and I agreed to every single one. For the first and second visits, I paid $ 126 each visit. For the third visit, I paid $ 54. I usually do not spend too much time looking at my Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from my insurance company because I trust that I was charged what I was supposed to be charged. The first visit’s EOB stated I should have only paid $ 54! So, I called the office and emailed them the EOB. After a couple of weeks, I got a refund. Second visit’s EOB also stated I should have only paid $ 54 as well. Again, after calling the office and emailing them the EOB, I got a refund. Now, the third visit’s EOB states I should have paid $ 0. So, again I am waiting for my refund. What concerns me is the office only refunded me what I overpaid after I complained about it. This is very disturbing. We are talking about $ 198 in overpaid charges. I wonder how many customers out there have overpaid and have no idea they are due for a refund.
The service was great. Dr. Bauer was very good and my daughter had a very pleasant experience, but the billing problems has left a very sour taste in my mouth. Because of this, I will not be coming back to this office for any more services.
If you decide to use Great Expressions in Goshen, I definitely recommend you check everything they charge you for against your insurance’s EOB.
