I was passing through the Elkheart and I just happened to walk into Martin’s Grocery. The display case is full of Panini’s on rustic sour dough or rye. Behind the counter, one of the employees was making trays of fresh potato chips. I ordered a half a chicken pesto panini, a bag of Buffalo(Wing flavored) Chips and a Diet coke. The total was $ 4.95. The Sandwich was just awesome. The bread was light and crispy, they put a fair amount of cheese in the sandwich, so it get’s nice and melty and gooey. This sandwich was a friggin party. The chips could have used a little more buffalo flavor, but even so they are fresh, crunchy kettle chips and only a $ 1.19 for a bag larger than most package chips. Very nice surprise, especially for a grocery store deli.
