Very good wine. On the night we went, they served brauts, sauerkraut, and other treats. Wine steward was very entertaining.

Ok lets be clear about a few things. Trevor is a kick in the drawers. Super nice guy and he throws an awful lot of free pours. Being a born and raised Napa Valley wine snob, I can assure you that many of his wines are quite good. The atmosphere is quite relaxed, fun and VERY kid friendly. Where else are you going to find that in a wine tasting room. On the weekends they have live music and/or family movies along with a huge fire pit and free s’more fixens for the kids. Add to that the cigars and the fact that you are in the mountains in God’ country, it is tough to beat. Any reviews that show anything less are from people who’s shirts are too starched, their britches are too tight and they live by the wine spectator ratings as a religion. Lighten up people and enjoy some good wine with some real old style(otherwise lost) hospitality.

This place is great and unlike many tasting rooms there is a lot of fun to be had here. The owner is here and he is just a great guy to talk to and swap a few stories. Fri and sat nights are when you should come. And if you are a cigar smoker they have something for you too… I love this place and the atmosphere!

This place was awesome! $ 5 for wine tasting, and the owner kept the pours coming. He was great fun to hang out with, and the wines were really good too. There was a nice little cigar cabinet if you’re feeling a little Ron Burgundy. The bottles of wine were mostly on the pricey side of things(unless you’re super fancy), but our favorite was only $ 20…so that worked out well. Overall, it was fun for a small group of us and kept us entertained for only $ 5 in the middle of nowhere.

The man pouring the tastes was friendly enough, and it’s a cute tasting room, but let’s face it – the wine was mediocre at best. We poured out most of our tastes, and that was even while splitting tastes two-ways. The wine is at best one-star quality; simply nothing we tried except the port was any good at all. All one-note, all too acrid /acidic, all with no body at all, and just bad. The port was nice, but nothing to write home about. The second star is for the quality of the service. Other good points: a number of wines to try for $ 5, and apparently there’s live music on weekends.

$ 5 Wine tasting with Trevor the owner of the Winery. He shared with us different techniques to taste the wine along with his favorite combinations on chocolate and wine. Some night’s there is live music so be sure to checkout the event calendar!
