Went to the mother’s day brunch today. I walked in and was immediately overcome by the stench of smoke and perfume. You’d think the smell of food would be what first greeted me. But this place clearly hasn’t been cleaned since the no-smoking law went into effect. I was willing to overlook the stink since the family was there and we were looking to have a good time. We sat and there was food on the floor by the table that we had to pick up because employees weren’t stopping for it. It took forever to just get water to the table. And after asking for more napkins it was another long wait. The food itself was… maybe okay. I liked the Belgian waffles with warm strawberries. But the bacon was disgusting. Soggy bacon that shared a pan with sausage. The experience was awful. There are so many comparably priced benches in the area with much better service and food. We will not be returning.

Yummy bloody mary, excellent tenderloin medalions, and great pasta. Service was good and fast. Only thing that could have been better was the cajun flavored pasta .not really cajun or any spice. Reasonable prices and a nice kids menu. I really liked the variety of choices on the menu but the menu was hard to read.

Had no idea this was related to the Flannery’s in downtown Milwaukee, but now it makes a lot of sense. Great place to stop in after a round of golf. The new Bloody Mary Menu is AMAZING! Full review at .

Went to Fire Ridge a few Fridays ago, with my girlfriend, for a fish fry. We stood at the hostess stand while the young, arrogant hostess kept walking past us, with no acknowledgment that she would be with us. Finally seated, I ordered the cod with potatoes pancakes. This food was infused with so much old grease that it pooled on my plate. By far the worse fish fry. I cannot speak for their other food but if they would allow this food to leave their kitchen then I’m sure the other food is bad as well. Quite sad that people allow these horrible restaurants to continue by patronizing them. Demand better by not going to these restaurants.

Not a very good brunch and there bloody mary’s are tasteless. Pretty much tomato juice and vodka with lemon, lime and green olive. Two sips and couldn’t drink anymore.

So my opinion of this place changes every time I order something different. The burgers are so far the best thing I’ve tried on the menu. They are mouth watering and huge. The pastas are just okay and the cinco de mayo Mexican buffet was not great. Its a good place to grab a drink and maybe and app or burger, but that’s about it.

A little hotel loungy feel to this place, but it is comfortable. The food is pretty good and fresh. They have healthy options and they taste home cooked and very light. The views are breath taking, because the restaurant is on the top of the hill that overlooks a golf course and a beautiful tree line.

I’d be willing to go back, but not for the fish fry. Looks like James B., the other reviewer, thinks the burgers are good. They must be, because more folks were eating them than the fish on Friday. Fish was bland, tartar sauce wasn’t so good either. Potato pancakes were the flour kind, but need to ease up on the temp. Too crisp, not enough flavor. The oil tasted old, as well. Next time, I’ll follow James B’s lead(From 4 years ago) and have a burger.

5 — Star Burgers! Seriously mouth watering ½lb patties of delicious angus beef cooked to your liking(medium rare is truly pink and delicious with hints of medium gray at the edges)! Steaks, prime rib(Saturday), and fish are all great, but not quite 5 stars so it gets 4. Still, all you can eat crab legs on Thursday nights are fantastic but they’ll set you back a bit.
