A few months back I rode the ferry. I posted a draft, but didn’t get a chance to follow up on the review. I will say this, it’s a ferry. It’s fun, it’s something not many people do very often and it takes you to Grafton… which I have very mixed opinions about.
No complaints, except for the long wait, but that’s what you get when you are defying gravity and floating a car across a major river. Haha!

This was my first experience on a ferry. I was quite nervous. I had no reason to be. This is a smooth operation. You wait for the ferry to come get you and your car, people drive on, someone comes to collect your money and before you know it you are a crossed the river. So what would have taken you a 45 minute drive to get back to the other side, only takes you a few minutes by ferry. It’s worth the money to do the ferry. Plus they are open until 10:00PM. Make sure you bring cash.

I’ve been riding this ferry since I was a child & still ride it today when I go to visit my best friend. People from where I live now just can’t believe there’s a ferry that transports cars from one place to another. They’re used to ferries that only transport people. So funny!
