I’ve been coming to this place as long as I can remember… Their hand-scooped ice cream(Edy’s) is some of the better ice cream I’ve had. But that’s not the important fact of this little shop. THEFUDGE… The fudge, the fudge… THEBEST I’VEEVERHAD. by far. My parents live in the area and I have them bring some to me occasionally. I always share it with my co-workers, who are in awe. I am a sucker for the peanut butter fudge, but any flavor is good. When I tell people of this fudge they immediately tell me a story of some fudge they’ve had here or there… They don’t understand until I bring them some… I’ve had people bring me fudge from Lake of the Ozarks, New York, Mackinaw(Sp?) Island in Michigan. Their grand-parents. It doesn’t matter, it does not touch this fudge. Its flavorful, smooth and rich, but not over the top. If you’re within 100 miles and enjoy fudge. make the trip. There are plenty of other little shops to keep you entertained for the day if you make the scenic drive down the river road. Addition: This little show has some jewelry and other misc antiques if you so desire. Just a good all around place in a good location. Looking forward to getting some fudge while I am home over Easter in a few weeks.
