It’s Bo time! I went back to my old tried and true breakfast favorite, Bojangles’. I used to stop by Bojangles’ every morning on my commute into work in Charlotte. I usually ordered the same thing: a country ham and egg biscuit. It is almost always fabulous, albeit on the salty side, but what one can expect from country ham. Price? $ 2.69 + tax. It is worth every shiny penny. This particular restaurant on south main in Graham appears to be extremely new. There was plentiful parking. Getting into and out of the restaurant parking lot was easy. This restaurant is just off exit 147, and within a stone’s throw of the interstate. Sanitation rating as of April 2014 is 97.5. The place looked very clean to me. The men’s restroom was extremely clean. The employees were friendly. The food arrived quickly. My sandwich was so hot that I saw the lady who made the biscuit, draw back her hand in pain from the hot country ham. She looked up at me and the counter attendant and laughed. The ham was not fatty. It WAS extremely hot, salty, and delicious. The cup o’Joe that I ordered was good also. A small cuppa is $.99. My total bill was: $ 3.93, which I thought was extremely reasonable for a fast, delicious breakfast. I will surely be back here again for breakfast, probably next Monday…

I have been in Raleigh for a week now. Besides being stuck in the hotel room due to an ice storm or heading to work, I have not had the opportunity to see Raleigh much. So, on this saturday, I decided to drive around this city(by the way, the drive was wonderful — city is picturesque, houses are colonial and had lots of character, and tons of beautiful trees). On my trip, I saw Bojangle’s and decided to pop in. I have been to multiple chicken restaurants. Being from the south, New Orleans, I love Popeye’s Fried Chicken. By the way, I can’t stand KFC. No idea why… chicken is not to my taste. Anyways, on my way home from my tour of the city, I decided to order the special — 8 pieces and 4 biscuit specials(figure I have it for lunch and dinner — saves me time). The biscuits were very good. They were soft, warm, buttery, and flaky. Very good for your health by the way… :) As for the chicken, I love the crust! It was crunchy. I guess I do not like KFC because they tend to be soft and brittle. At Bojangles, they had a definite crunchiness to it. As for the chicken, it was hot, tender, and tasty. yum yum yum. Very good. They got me sold… There were some things that I wish they offer. For example, instead of getting a side of biscuit, I wish they could replace it with another side. Also, I wanted red beans and rice and they did not have it on their menu :( Overall, the chicken, biscuits, and price(approx $ 10) was right on. I would recommend it here… Cheers,

five stars for the best fast food biscuits born in north carolina. bojangles is one of my top three food destinations as soon as i arrive home. i usually get either a biscuit with just cheese or an egg and cheese biscuit. i always share the bo-berry biscuits with geoffrey. «what is a bo-berry?» you might ask — well, it’s a very special bluberry chosen to be in the bojangle boberry biscuit. the icing on the boberry biscuit, which surely is not good for you, tastes like a little piece of southern heaven. not to be forgotten about, are the absolute best fast food french fries ever in the world. just go ahead and order a picnic size(aka large) because if you order a small everyone you are with will eat them all up and you’ll be left wanting more. don’t forget to shake extra spices, chained to the counter in silver jar(so valuable!), on them. one last thing, bojangles also has the best sweet tea. it’s sooo very sweet. perfection. note: i have never actually been to the bojangles in graham, nc. but, i have been to just about everyone between durham and wilmington, nc.

2 chicken and cheese biscuits a sweetened tea and an individual side of ‘dirty rice’ a great breakfast makes. As much as I love high cuisine and fine dining you are nowhere without the things that make you feel comfortable and at home. This is that place for me. Just like Gus’ Diner I must have this multiple times when I visit my parents. I won’t go here for any other meal as I only want to have what they do best… that would be biscuits.
