Nikki is a master artist at microblading! I had checked out many others before choosing Nikki to do my brows, but nowhere else had the perfection in their portfolio as she does. Nikki has tons of experience microblading brows and many pictures to prove it. Her office is very clean and she is super sweet. I highly recommend her!

I have been remiss in taking so long to review Epic Lashes. I have been going to Nikki for almost a year and she is amazing. As I have aged, my lashes have gotten fewer and shorter. Nicki applied the volume lashes and I was hooked! I no longer have to spend precious minutes in the morning applying loads of liner and mascara. I can put on some foundation, lower lash mascara, lipstick and look put together. Nikki is a perfectionist and her services are reasonably priced. For these reasons I happily drive an hour and 20 minutes once a month to keep my gorgeous lashes maintained.

Well I was a little hesitant on switching the place where I have my eye lashes done, but Nikki’s place was so close to home and she seemed nice. She had a deal on Living Social, so I called her and she gave me the deal without having to buy it from LivSoc. The last place I was going was doing a great job, but it was farther than I wanted to drive. Lesson be learned I should have stayed with what I know. So I arrived and voiced my concerns about what I did not want, because I’ve been getting my lashes done for years now and I have used a couple places in the past before I found the place in Tacoma that I like. I know that lashes that stick together are a problem and they look bad if not properly applied. Immediately Nikki asked me where I had my current lashes applied and when I told her she started bashing them and stated that she had fixed many of their hacked jobs. RULE #1 in business: Don’t talk bad about your competition, it does not build trust or rapport with new clients. So overall while I was there I had a good experience, but was a little curious when she completed the fill so quickly. I looked in the mirror and saw that the lashes looked good, so I tipped her and told her that I wanted a couple days before I bought the package of fills to see how these wore. Well by day two the lashes on my left eye had stuck together and I appeared to have a bald spot on one eye. I emailed Nikki a picture to see if she could get me in and fix the«bald spot» there were lashes there, they hadn’t fallen out they were just stuck together creating a big gap. She again blamed it on the old place and said that when you have two places doing work on you the results are not always good. Ok fine I don’t buy it because there were very few lashes left on that eye seeing how I had gone six weeks without a fill so we could start with a fresh slate. The other eye by the way had many more lashes left over because it’s the side I don’t sleep on and I was having no issues with that eye. All of this is only partially relevant in my eyes:} I really just wanted to have her fix the one eye and not make excuses and do it in a timely manner. First she offered to remove all the lashes for free but not for another week(not acceptable in my book I paid for the service). Then I told her what I was really looking for and she agreed but again said no can do for another week. She works out of her home and I find it difficult to believe that she could squeeze me in for a quick fix any time this week. That’s terrible customer service in my book. She lost a customer, which is sad because she was so close to home. I called my old place with my tail tucked between my legs and told them my mistake and they were happy to get me in today. Oh and by the way if anyone is curious about a good lash techs method of getting each lash individually stuck, my girl in Tacoma uses a mucus bulb and a mini fan to dry the glue and carefully separates them by hand before I get off the table. This makes it so the first time you wash your lashes after the 48 hrs of glue setting you don’t have spider eyes with lashes going in every direction because they won’t get clumped together. Nikki could take a hint on this step that she skipped.
