Came here for lunch today and ordered the Spicy Grilled Cheese and Chili combo, which was described as bison and beer chili with sour cream and chives topped with fried pimento grit stix, paired with a sandwich of grilled ghost pepper cheese, bacon and bacon aioli. Sounded incredible and what are the odds I would find something right up my chile-head alley in a little country cooking roadside diner? Well, more than I could hope for I guess. The grilled cheese was just 2 slices of buttered toast and a couple of cheap American cheese slices. The chili was pretty tasty, well seasoned and had a good spicy kick, but was served with just a sprinkle of shredded jack cheese. It had ground meat, beans, tomato and peppers, whether it was bison or beef I couldn’t say by the taste but it wasn’t greasy at all. Pimento grit stix was replaced by packs of off-brand saltines. At $ 7.59 this is just unacceptable substitutions, if this had been priced at $ 3.99 it would been fine, but if you advertised fancy ingredients at a fancy price you should come through with it or charge appropriately to the ingredients you use. I think that’s called fraud, yeh? My Mom had a hot dog all the way and liked it, best I can say about this place.

Consistently good and a wider variety of dishes than your typical local diner. They do a brisk business without making you wait and while giving you good service.

Grill Worx is my favorite place in Alamance county to go out for breakfast. They have a sampler platter that is awesome. Two eggs, bacon, sausage, country ham, grits or gravy(I cut the ham and add it to the grits), hashbrowns(they will add cheese and onion) and your choice pancakes, toast or biscuits. The food and service are very good. This is the kind of place where the waitress knows most of the people she waits on. Highly recomended.

One of the best places to get breakfast or lunch in Graham. The food is consistently good(even if it isn’t all from scratch) and the staff are reasonably polite. The pancakes are absolutely delicious and the lunch is always a big winner. The only real problem I have with this place are the crowds(good luck on not waiting a long time for a table), the speed of the food(it’s a tad slow), and the fact that they’re not open for supper.

My husband and I eat here regularly! This is a favorite !! The food is very good, the breakfast is the best. The waitress knows us by name and is always fabulous!!! The Brunswick stew is awesome!!! I love this little place the only bad thing is they are only open until 3pm. They do have takeout orders option that you can plave at the counter or call ahead if you want something yummy and don’t have much time!!!

Nice little diner that serves breakfast(all day) and lunch only, closing at 3PM. The family also runs Country Grill on Church Street., which has a similar menu, but is open for dinner. The waitress are excellent, fast and friendly, and the time for you order out of the kitchen is short. The daily special I tried was Chicken and Dumplings, and it was rich and tasty, and a nice size plate for about $ 6. The Cheeseburger was relatively small for the size of the bun, kinda got lost in there. The taste was good, but I think I would either order their double cheeseburger with extra cheese, or the regular cheeseburger with extra cheese, and only pickles and mayo. The hot dog was very good, with a thick, meaty chili with a little spice to it. The wiener was good, not the neon red variety, but definitely not all beef either. The fries were excellent — thin & crispy, and able to hold some salt. The onion rigs were decent, but definitely not made in house. A number of folks were ordering breakfast plates for lunch, and they were nice looking and large — gotta try that soon

If you want garden variety, take out of the freezer, drop in the fryer and serve food… this is the place for you. They are always packed, the food is always the same, the service is decent but nothing to write home about. I have always considered a restaurant a place to go where I get stuff that I can’t make at home, and this ain’t it. Nothing on the menu seems to be made in house. There is nothing wrong with it, and judging by the crowds, this is what people want around here. I’ll stick with my places that I frequent that offer some homemade stuff.

One would think that a restaurant that specializes in breakfast would put at least some effort into making at least one thing from scratch. The biscuits were horrible frozen pre made. The country fried steak was a frozen pre breaded patty. The gravy was a powder based instant. This is very far from a quality home cooked breakfast. However it’s one of the only places in Graham to get breakfast on Sunday morning besides waffle house.

This has become my family’s favorite restaurant in town. The staff very friendly, and the food just rocks! They close around 3:00 every day, but they own Country Grill on Church street which is open for dinner if you have a craving.
