Several girlfriends and I visited the winery on a weekday afternoon. We were the only ones there and the service was excellent! I can’t remember the gals’ name, but she was very personable and knowledgable about their wines. They have a ton of events each month which I’m excited to try out. We couldn’t see Rainier because of the cloud cover that day, but it was wonderfully relaxing atmosphere regardless. Definitely looking forward to more visits this summer!

We went on a little weekend drive and were planning to go to Graham to go to the M.T. Head Brewery. The drive felt kind of far and we wanted to incorporate another stop rather than just going to the brewery and then turning around and going home so as we were going to M.T. we came across this winery as well and made a stop. The staff and owners are really great to talk with and they know their wine well! They also have some very unique kinds of wine! Steve and I did a wine tasting here where we tried five different kinds of wine. Steve focused more on the reds and I went with a broad range which included both reds and whites. The folks here know how to incorporate the these kinds of tastings quite well so when you go from one tasting to the next the flavors of the wine mingle with out a hitch. The wine that I liked best was a Jalapeño wine and I enjoyed it so much I got a bottle of it. We were told that it is a great cooking wine as well as just a fiery sipping wine. There is a cute gift shop around the tasting tables and it looks like they have space for special events as well.

Rainier View Winery is such a great place to get together with friends and have some delicious wine that can’t be bought in stores. The atmosphere is amazing. The owners are fantastic people and provide a great experience for all who visit their winery. Bingo night has to be one of my favorite things to do at the winery. I also, took my daughter there after she turned 21 for her first wine tasting. The staff made her feel very special and made her experience memorable(my daughter is hooked on the strawberry wine). I haven’t had a wine that I didn’t like. You won’t be disappointed.

Not what I was expecting, but it definitely has some great things going for it. This winery is located in the most beautiful place. It’s got scenic views and a perfect look at rainier. The staff are also extremely friendly and accommodating. They really spent time making sure we were satisfied with our tastings. The is no actual bathroom which is understandable as the tastings are in a tent/greenhouse type shelter, but it is a downer to have to use and outhouse after wine tasting :(I also thought the set up was a little strange with no permanent building. It was not a typical winery, but I was not disappointed that we stopped. I mostly enjoyed the people working there.

On the way back from Mount Rainier, we stopped by the winery to have a few glasses of wine. This winery is close to the city of Puyallup and on a clear day, you get a great view of Mount Rainier. Since we arrived towards sunset, the top of Mount Rainier was covered by clouds. When we arrived, they had live music by local musicians and many tables set up for a party that night. We tasted a variety of wines including a Red Blend, Malbec and Cab Franc. My father and I agreed on the Cab Franc and we ordered two glasses. The owner explained that his way of making wine is more in line with the European way and not so much the California way. The owner’s were very nice and gave us some pretzels to enjoy with our wine. They should offer some small appetizers in case people get hungry. I would suggest some Italian or Spanish meats and cheese to compliment the wines. You are free to bring your own food and we did see some other guests with picnic baskets and coolers.

There are very few winery experiences in life which rival this one. Amazing people and wines! Experience the local life and feel Washington from a first hand experience! The wines are better than any I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommend it!!!

What a cute little place in the middle of Graham! We sat outside sipping on amazing wine, while our kids ran around kicking a ball. Relaxing, beautiful and friendly… What else more can you ask for? We will for sure back

Im not usually a wine drinker but the tastes I got were fruity and sweet so I loved them. The blueberry is delicious. I loved meeting friends there in their cute set-up. You can bring food in too. The owners are nice and friendly and try to bring the tastes to match what you like– if you don’t they’ll bring another. I wish they had a bathroom though since their wines are high in alcohol content and it makes people want to shake the port o potty.

While the owners seem nice and it seems like a great place for locals to gather it feels more amateur wine from a kit than actual viticulture. Every wine they have, including red) is carbonated to some degree and they stated that this was because they didn’t use chemicals but I’ve tasted many organic and chem free wines that weren’t carbonated. The wine was definitely not my taste but with a few more years experience they may develop as wine makers.

Best Winery hands down in the Puget Sound region. Clay and his wife have created an excellent atmosphere with amazing views, and an incredible variety of wines. Bring along some sandwiches when you come to do a tasting or enjoy a bottle of wine but be prepared for some good conversation filled with lots of laughs. I highly recommend the Rainier View Winery. Keep up the good, tasty work Clay!

Not your typical winery! Tasting room is set inside a beautiful glass sunroom with a greenhouse attached(many gorgeous plants and other gifts for sale) with lots of seating outside on the patio. With a lovely yet casual atmosphere, it’s a great place to meet and relax after work. There are regularly lots of people but there’s always a place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or do a tasting flight. I always enjoy my visits here.

I agree with Tanya. Owners are very nice, kind, willing people. It´s easy to get there and the place is very pretty. Prices are reasonable. So no complaints about these facts. But you have to be a big fan of fruit wines. And I am not. And I didn´t know what kind of wines they produce(otherwise I wouldn´t go there). So it was kind a surprise that I drink something what we used to drink during communism and in early 90´s in the Czech Republic because it was almost impossible to get some good alcohol generally. And these wines were everywhere and it was cheap(like one dollar per bottle). So it was like a trip to the past for me :-) Anyway, I recommend this place if you are a fan of fruit wines. Otherwise try something else.

If you’re going to have a business where you expect folks to sit and sip, at least put in a BATHROOM. One lousy portapotty with empty seat cover rack and empty hand sanitizer isn’t going to cut it. Luckily there was TP. I purchased a nice wine glass and 71 oz. tastes of wine. Received 5 tastes and that was it. Wine was okay. No need to go back and if you go, be sure and GO before you get there.

These folks are extremely friendly and accommodating. A group of girl friends went out for a tasting and the owner was generous with his pours and allowed us to bring in appetizers. The view is true to the name, they have a nice view of the mountain but you cannot see it from tasting area. Now to the reason I gave 3 stars; the wine. They are fruit wines, not quite what one expects. I was excited to try them but was sorely disappointed. We tried 8 wines and 1 was good, 1 ok, and the rest syrupy sweet, flabby, with a finish I wished I could brush off my tongue. Definitely not for me. Especially frustrating was the strawberry rhubarb. I could taste the super-fermented strawberry however the tart I hoped for from the rhubarb just wasn’t there. I’m thinking that folks who don’t typically like wine might like this. It was fun for a girls night out, the wines are 18% and we had fun. I’d say go give it a try once for yourself and decide, for $ 10 bucks you get a nice keeper wine glass and owners who do obviously care about your satisfaction. Hopefully their wines will improve.
