Good food, great prices and the waitress was super nice. I highly recommend. Cool little diner. Although the cook should not eat while cooking.

This area has its share of greasy spoons: Zack’s, Gus’, Jim’s… but Skid’s II seems to be the one that really took off, and when I’m in the mood for an intestinal landmine, this is where I go. Now, one big caveat: I have never eaten at the original Skid’s, where I understand the food is much, much better. Still, I have a special place in my heart for the II’s that popped up all over the place thanks to business dealings and the such. First — the food is the greasiest of the greasy spoons. I’m not even sure that the water is low fat, low cholesterol. Still, fat adds flavor and Skid’s packs a lot of flavor into their food. My personal favorite is the twin dog basket, but I’ve been known to honk down a burger or chicken sandwich on occasion, and the food tastes pretty darned good, with a heavy serving of grease on the side. The ambiance is nothing special. It’s your typical greasy spoon. The staff depends on who’s on duty, but I’ve always had a pleasant experience with them. In comparison, I guess I’d put Skid’s II and Zack’s on about the same level. Neither are anything special outside of the affection us locals have for them.

One of several Hot Dog & Hamburger joints started by the Skidmore Family in the Burlingot area years ago. Plain, simple drive-in type fare — hot dogs, hamburgers, combo baskets with fries — and then they throw in a Gyro Basket, a Souvlaki Basket, and a Pork Chop Basket, even Pizza is available here — different but nice, and the pricing is excellent. But stick with the Burger and Dog here. The Burger is especially nice — full of flavor, a litttle greasy, coming off the grill with a nice outside crust. This Cheeseburger comes in at $ 1.99 — really, $ 1.99. The Chili Dog is good, not great — but at $ 1.55, good is quite enough. Wish the FF were better, but that almost seem greedy Good service here, friendly folks. It is a plain, simple place with good food & excellent value.

A decent little greasy spoon where you can eat for under $ 5.

I’m a big fan of places not trying to be something that they are not. This is a hot dog and burger joint that stays true to its roots. Great salad bar, fantastic service, cozy seating, this place rocks. Don’t expect any gourmet items here, but the burgers, fries(as long as you ask for them extra crispy) and dogs are as good as you are gonna get in Graham. For the money, the best place to eat burgers and dogs in Graham.
