I needed a quick oil change before taking going on vacation. Before settling on this Valvoline station, I printed off a $ 15 off coupon from the company’s website. When I pulled into the oil change bay, the mechanic saw the coupon in my hand and told me that they wouldn’t honor it. I explained that it was just printed off of their website and she told me that the owner won’t take them. I happened to also have an Attractions coupon book with a coupon for a synthetic oil change from Firestone for $ 49.99, so I asked her how much they charged for a synthetic change. It was $ 69. So, now I’m a couple I exits up at Firestone where it’s $ 20 cheaper because they honor their company’s coupons.
