We used Elite Access doors to program about 5 garage door openers and our entry and exit gates in Aug of 2015. I carefully explained which door I wanted attached to which button on the openers. The technician was supposed to arrive between 8−12pm. They called at noon and said he would arrive at 12:30pm which he did. He was at our home until 4:30pm. We were shocked when we saw that the bill was over $ 1,100.00. $ 65 service call to come out combined with $ 120.00 per hour in labor! Yikes, no wonder why the technician(Rapheal) was taking his sweet time! The next day we figured out that everything was program incorrectly. He made it so the exit gate no longer closed automatically. All of the remotes including my car were not programmed according to my specifications. We called and complained and made the technician come out again to do what he should have done in the first place. It took a lot of phone calls to get the service guy to come out for a second time and then he tried to charge me labor again! But I refused to pay, explaining that the only reason he had to come out again was to fix things that he programmed either wrong or incorrectly. Then, the next day we see that the key pad to our entry gate no longer works. So, I call Elite Access Doors and ask them, if they did anything to the keypad because it’s no longer working. They told me they never touched it and it just must be a coincidence that our keypad stopped working the day after their repair man was out. We then decided to go with another company to fix our keypad on our entry gate(Ricky Mata with RTM Gate and Door Service $ 85.00 for service call and NO hourly labor rate tacked on). They looked at our system and told us that Raphael from Elite Access doors forgot to program in the keypad onto all of our remotes and that is why it suddenly stopped working! They said he probably was not aware that we had a keypad and therefore forgot to program it in when he reprogrammed our cars and remotes. I am so upset with them for everything… poor service, too expensive, incompetence, not accepting responsibility when the work was done incorrectly, and difficult to reschedule the work! Please heed my warning and never use this company, instead use RTM Gate and Door Service. Plus, Raphael tried to sell us the need to upgrade our panel but we declined. They are just trying to get you to spend as much money with them as possible and they’re horribly incompetent!

If I could give the company a zero rating I would. They totally wasted my time. They are a fraud! They have VERY poor customer service. I waited from 12 – 5 to have someone show up so we could change the code on our keypad, since we just moved into a new home. Well, come 5 and still no one showed up, I called the company and they said sorry he will be there in 30 – 45 mins. If I did not call they would not have had the decency to call me to tell me the technician would be late. Well, surprise! Come 45 minutes later, still no one. I called them after hours and left a bunch of messages with their call center. No one called me back. I called them again 2 days later and spoke to a very rude girl named Liz who did not want me to talk to the manager. She simply told me to find another company, which I did. If you are looking for a gate company elite access doors is NOT it! I had a wonderful experience with Pacific Garage Doors and Gates. They came on time, gave me a call 30 minutes prior to arrival, and after they changed the code told me there was a way to go online and download the manual so that I can change the code myself in the future. They were a very honest company, unlike Elite Access Doors who really do not know what it means to run a business.

Total ripoff and poor customer service!!! They quoted me $ 65 for the service call plus $ 35/half hour of labor to fix the intercom for our condo. The technician came out and fixed the door in less than an hour and charged me $ 500! The intercom only worked for a week. When I called them to complain, they said it’ll be another $ 65 for the service call plus $ 35/half hour labor. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Don’t waste your time or money! These company is a fraud.

What a racket! This company told us $ 45 for a service call plus $ 50 per ½ hour for repairs. The technician arrived and I told him we needed a new panel only. The tech proceeded to disassemble the motor which was totally unrelated to the problem then do a bunch of unnecessary measurements before telling me he couldn’t get the part needed. Then asked for $ 145. I told him to forget it and he started swearing etc. don’t trust these people!

My car was stuck in my garage. I had to get to work, and was scared I would be late to an important meeting. They came within 30 minutes of me calling. I was shocked at how fast they were able to arrive for me. Thank you !

I manage a condo and had called Elite Access Doors to fix our 1980’s Sentex security entrance phone. It wasn’t working right after I had changed my phone service. My first appointment window was set for 9am — noon. The tech showed up at around 10am and proceeded to do his best to fix the entrance phone. He was able to get it working and left.(This is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars) It worked for only two days. I called and made a new appointment(they are always so booked, that the appointments are a week away from when you call.) for the next week. My appointment window was between 11am and 3pm. That day at exactly 2:59pm, I received a call from their office, telling me that they had to cancel my appointment… Who does that? I told them that doing this was unacceptable and all the woman on the phone could say was«I’ve been out sick and I didn’t think to call you.». We attempted to schedule another appointment and came up with today, between 9am and noon. It’s now 12:23 and of course the tech is not here. They gave me an estimate right away for a new system(of course), but if and when we ever need one, I will definitely NOT call Elite Access Doors. My only saving grace right now is that we haven’t paid them yet for the first time they came out.
